I would personally like to live in the Victorian era because it seems so interesting to me. The way they were so strict about social class is fascinating as well.

I'd like to live in Ancient Rome or the Middle Ages if I could.

Ancient greece time specifically during Persian wars. Or the time of Genghis Khan. Either one is awesome.

I have to agree with Macho_Man, it would be pretty cool to live then and I'm into my history so it would good to find out how wars were fought.

I would like to have been a senior in high school in 1984.

First off, the movies of the 80's were great and I would have loved to have been able to take a date to see one of the John Cusack films or go see Return of the Jedi or Ghostbusters when they came out. Second, the music was great. You had great bands like The Cure, U2, David Bowie, Husker Du and The Smiths. Even the pop music was great with Cyndi Lauper, Madonna and Hall and Oates, to name a few. Third, the USA (my home) was in a period of carefree up and coming prosperity. I was a young kid during this period of time, but it was still a time when i could ride my bike down the street, didn't have to lock our doors and people said hello and opened doors for you. 

Honestly, I could come up with more reasons, but basically I loved the 80's and wished I'd been about 10 years older during that period of time, so I could have had the freedom to enjoy those times.

I would definitely like the idea of chivalry in the middle ages, instead of someone sending me a mail here these days wanting to hit on me.

I'm pretty satisfied with the era of indoor plumbing, hot and cold running water, grocery stores, and modern medicine.  I'd have died at childbirth due to scarlet fever, being a month premature, and hyperbilyrubenemia.  And, even if I survived all that, I'm so blind without my contact lenses.  On top of that, my mother is of Dutch descent, and my father Native American descent.  So, they'd probably have never met nor married in any other time.  Aside from that, I'd have to go with the 50's and 60's of the Sinatra/Rat Pack hey day.  And, I'd like to have been born rich so i could enjoy it.

50's, the music, the cars, the punching of jukeboxes etc...

late 80s, early 90s. Would have loved to have been around for acid house and the illegal raves!

Same here I would like to live on a medieval age, I would like to be a traveler or an adventurer w/ my custom made sword and dagger beside me and a white tiger as my pet to look and guard me when I was asleep, I would like to hear different kinds of folklore among each kingdom, taste any kind of wine, listen to different kinds of music, smell every breeze of air , taste any kinds of food, buying different kinds of clothes for my children and a set of jewelry for my lovely wife and also some rare meat for my pet's family and going back to our little wooden house that is rich w/ tears and joy, pain and grief like a lost treasure that can't be find wherever you go, It's beauty and uniqueness is unrivalled.

I don't think I would travel to the past unless it was to attend a music gig, like Nirvana/Alice in Chains unplugged. I would travel to the future to see if it resembled Star Trek.
