Suggestion Re: -48, War Started by: PlayerCommission on Nov 23, '12 05:14

I still cannot vote in favour of this change.

The -48 is an indicator of AGE, it always has been, it has never indicated anything else.

Their innocence is determined by the colour their name turns in the obits, not by the tag in their profile.

Report Post Tip

Their age is only an important factor as they are being given sufficient time to find a family. Why should they be protected further by this tag when they have completed the objective of the tag, and then chose to become unsponsored?

For what its worth, I'm more inclinned to feel there is no need to make changes on this, but there is part of me that can't understand why the tag remains on someone if they have been employed by a Mafia family already. So for that reason, I'll be voting Yes.

The voting for this suggestion has passed.

PC-Cassiopeia has voted YES. [5] (The 48 hours is to look for a crew, if they have already joined one and drop, they shouldn\'t then still have the remaining time, they should have used the time more wisely to begin with.)
PC-El_Nino has voted YES. [4] (I think that innconcence should drop from when you join a crew.)
PC-Flash-Fire has voted YES. [3] (Prevents abuse of something that was implemented to protect new players.)
PC-Lola has voted YES. [2] (Option 2 - definitely. If someone joins a family only drop out, they know the risk they take.)
PC-SpikeSpiegel has voted YES. [2] (For Option 2, Yes)
PC-Sticks has voted YES. [2] (I believe people know this is a mafia game. If they aren\'t aware that loyalty to one family should be one of the biggest things, they shouldn\'t be given second chances at the beginning.)
PC-Warrior has voted YES. [2] (As per my reasons stated in discussion.)
PC-Whitey has voted YES. [2] (Yes, Gets rid of a lot of confusion and frustration by doing this)
PC-DeadlySin has voted NO. [2] (I don\'t think they should lose their -48 tag just because they leave a crew. They are afterall, still -48. People don\'t lose that tag for shooting at others, they simply appear red in the obits with the -48 tag still visible, which is how this should be too.)
PC-ralph has voted NO. [2] (Unnecessary and simply makes it easier for an opposing faction to single out members.)
PC-Adrian has not voted. [2]
PC-Patti has not voted. [2]
PC-Pratster has not voted. [2]
PC-Ter has not voted. [2]
PC-Asylum has not voted. [0]
PC-Grin has not voted. [0]
PC-Sayyid has not voted. [0]
PC-Squishy has not voted. [0]
PC-Tech has not voted. [0]

Voting Totals, Yes: 22 (8), No: 4 (2), Undecided: 8 (9).

PC-Flash-Fire, it is now your responsibility to write a final summary for the coders and to create/edit the wiki article for the suggestion.
Report Post Tip

Final summary.

Players tagged with (-48) on their profile loose their tag once sponsored permanently.
(-48) will no longer show on players who where previously sponsored whether they left or where kicked out.
Players under 48 hours old that do not have the (-48) will show as black in the obits like a regular account.
