I'm sorry that I did not catch this one sooner. This idea is cool, but not feasible with the way achievements are set up. We don't live track achievements because of the load it would cause to the server, therefore we cannot display any kind of accurate count. |

Ahh, Well that is a shame but if it cannot be done it simply cannot be done.
Thanks for letting us know :) |

Also it shouldn't have really made it to the PC forum as PC's Grin & Ter will no longer be on the PC so it has gained sponsorship from a minority of overlapping PC accounts. |

Kind of irrelevant that one Flash-Fire. |

I honestly don't think the overlap matters. We aren't passing constitutional amendments over here. |

I think it's relevant. No need for sarcasm really enkindle. I think if it's sat for so long with the former PC'ers and wasn't sponsored by them, then those that are no longer part of the pc should have their sponsorships removed. Then if the current PC'ers want to responsor they can. |

True statement, that. These things still need to be voted on, I don't believe an overlap in sponsorships is a big deal.
Cassi, I don't agree that previous sponsorships should be removed. I think it's sortof like saying their sponsorships are now somehow invalidated by the fact they either wish to discontinue their service or weren't lucky enough to get voted in.
With that mentality you could say that we should go back and revote on every decision that had been voted in by a majority of ex-PC, that wouldn't be practical.
{The reason a lot of these suggestions have sat for a long time are 1. Last round of PCers weren't as active as it should've been (until Countdown wrote his scathing thread) and 2. There are a lot of threads that got lost in the shuffle of things. Theads that have a little bit of conversation and a couple sponsors fell through the cracks most likely due to a larger more pressing matter being brought to attention.}
I am under the impression that we will need to be deciding about the whole sponsorship situation soon, I'd like to put it out there that I believe the sponsorships of previous players should go as follows:
All old sponsorships still count towards the total # of sponsors, but the primary sponsor HAS to be someone who's currently a PC member. Let's not throw the baby out with the bathwater and start all over on these suggestions. |

I would expect that if I had chose not to continue, anything that I sponsored that wasn't passed should be removed, as I would no longer be a part of the current team. Maybe I am in the majority of thinking that way, but I have never been at a job where we lost a manager and the new manager continued on with the exact same structure as was in place before. When a new team is constructed, new terms are set into place. Aye it's not congress, nor a job, nor anything else that it could be other than the PC, I'm just stating my opinions as I see them. Nowhere do I claim them to be fact. I'll include a disclaimer next time! |
