Seems cool with me. Definitely straightforward. Unless anyone else has any thoughts. |

I'm not really sure that there's a need for people to know whose contacts they are in... maybe I am missing something here, but I really don't see how this would be a benefit or how it would positively impact the game. |

Well, in the past, it was nice to see who had you as a contact. I definitely wouldn't want people to see what group I put them in... But it's usually a good way to find people if they've died or otherwise. |

You can currently add dead contacts to your contacts. I am with DeadlySin here, I don't really see the benefits of this change. It was coded with you not being able to see them now even though you could before for a reason obviously? |

I think the only real reason is so when people die and return they tend to add you to their contacts, if this was visible to the person still alive it makes it easier to find them after they died. |

If they are adding someone to their contacts after they die and come back, don't you think they would take the time to reach out to tell the person they are back? And if they haven't maybe there is a reason? |

Some people will add all their known friends and not necessarily mail them if they are offline. |

I would like to hear from the coders why this was intentionally left out before we vote to possibly reinstate it. |

I personally think some people enjoy the aspect of being able to watch someone without them knowing, such as highlighting their name on the 60 seconds list. The art of surprise can be utilized by anyone and I am sure if it were a real life situation, if someone were watching you, you might be able to tell depending on how discreet they are. |

Unless anyone has anything to add, I'd like to set a vote time for this within the next 24 hours. |

Although I seem to be in quite the minority here, considering how many other votes we've taken on introducing/modifying features to the contact list, including an option for shared groups and optional visibility, would, I believe, "complete" contacts, as quite frankly, past this feature, I don't see any other additions being actually helpful/necessary to the feature on the horizon. |

The voting for this suggestion has failed. PC-ralph has voted YES. [2] (If an option was enabled to enable/disable people from seeing who is added, I don\'t see any issue with this.) PC-Ter has voted YES. [2] (If the option was there, some players would use it.) PC-Cassiopeia has voted NO. [5] (It was left out for a reason) PC-El_Nino has voted NO. [4] (I like finding my friends again) PC-Flash-Fire has voted NO. [3] (No real need for this and will take time away from other projects) PC-DeadlySin has voted NO. [2] (No purpose to this, and as already said was removed for a reason.) PC-SpikeSpiegel has voted NO. [2] (Not worth it if it\'s really that much of a bitch.) PC-Sticks has voted NO. [2] (I do not find this a useful way to utilize progressing the game.) PC-Warrior has voted NO. [2] (As Squishy said; coding time is better spent elsewhere.) PC-Whitey has voted NO. [2] (Time better spent elsewhere) PC-Adrian has not voted. [2] PC-Lola has not voted. [2] PC-Patti has not voted. [2] PC-Pratster has not voted. [2] PC-Asylum has not voted. [0] PC-Grin has not voted. [0] PC-Sayyid has not voted. [0] PC-Squishy has not voted. [0] PC-Tech has not voted. [0] Voting Totals, Yes: 4 (2), No: 22 (8), Undecided: 8 (9). The PC may continue discussion of the suggestion and reopen voting or close the thread. |
