Hello Fellow mafioso's. I stand here today to talk about the current issue, it seems we are losing people left and right. it is my believe that these new "rules" are not completely right, i believe that if a mafioso has been in our shores for a few days and has NOT even messaged anyone or communicated in any shape or form, this person should be considered an IA, they are not providing nothing for us, but i do believe those that have had human contact in our world even spoken to one person those should be protected by this law. what do you think about this issue? |

I think those who cannot put the effort in to get $1000 dollars to be given Don Mariettas protection should be a target. Obviously you retain the under 48 hour rule because it has now become a rule from the Gods. Other than that. You pay the money or pay with your life. |

| It doesn't matter what I think. The Bosses of the cities have made a decision and that's just the way it is going to be. Last I checked, street vermin did not have any say in how the families are run. | |

| Why should someone be targeted for creating a savings account or getting on a log? I have lumberjacks in my family who practice log rolling. Why should they be shot for this? It's a harmless hobby. | |

You're quite correct Hi. We have absolutely no say on how things are run round here anymore. However it has never stopped anyone debating it. We may not be right and we may not be listened to but people will always pick up on the latest comings and goings and give a 'If I were in their shoes' kind of speech. It doesn't show any disrespect to any leader if someone has a different view to them. That only comes when people start attacking what is already in place. |

| Of course, we can discuss it. My only point was that at the end of the day, it is an exercise in futility. We might have good ideas, but that does not mean anyone has to listen to us. If a Boss has made a firm decision, it really does not matter if we feel it was the right decision. | |

Lotus you are speaking to a man whos family lines have made a from pointing out the things that are going wrong in this world. I honestly hope those at the top now do things correctly, takes us back to the good ol' days and make this place as good as it used to be. It seems lot's of things were either lost or replaced when maybe they should not have been. Obviously this may all just be in my eyes and you all love the world how it is now. But I hope the whole respect games comes back into play. I know that is most likely what you are touching upon Hi, what with us being low ranks and perhaps questioning things.. Either way, without a speech like this I do not think the leaders, if they care, know what people think about the way things are going and as such I do not think it is a pointless exercise. |

The bosses may have made a decision and of course it should be followed. Of course that doesn't mean one shouldn't listen to other proposals. A vermin in the street or a capo should make no difference. I have seen even mob bosses make stupid decisions in the past. They paid for it with their lives. Besides who knows... that vermin could one day be Godfather. Either way I agree with Mariettas ruling in this. It is the best thing to do. If a civilian or gangster dont even listen to the words on the streets then they probably wouldn't make it far in this life of ours anyways... Tips his hat to Hi I have heard a lot about you Hi. They are. I have read many diaries of my ancestors and found that they spoke fondly of the times when rank was regarded highly and those who did not respect those above them were killed. It is probably better in writing than it was being alive but still, give us a go guv'nor. |

To be honest I think Marietta had/has handled this absolutely beautifully and the intervention from the Gods undermines her. She has offered protection to everyone who wants it. All it takes is a little effort. She was using the money taken from those left homeless to open up another shelter so they can be safely housed. Instead we now have a situation where for the next few hours I can say whatever I like within the Godly Rules and get away with it. |

I'm not following your logic. If good ol' days where rank was highly valued are good, how is a time where Bosses and Capos cannot fulfill their titles also a brilliant handling of the situation? If we had nobody above Made Man who would accept auth, then yes, Rhett's idea would have been a very useful solution. However, we do have people available. We also have the Gods offering funds to assist anybody who is short, we also have an Extremely Rich leader. I'm not sure this is a monetary problem. |

I am unsure of who has promoted which Boss/Capo/Made Man to their rank. These people may not have shown themselves worthy of the rank they posses and may be living on borrowed time. However, I am sure there is a good reason as to why they have either not been auth'd yet or why they are not being auth'd at all. There would be no crisis if the people of this world did not want everything handed to them on a plate. $1,000 is not a lot of money to the people who choose to enter this life. Earn that and the Don said she would protect you. I'd say that is handling it well. |
