Zoey spent half the day picking at the lock that chained her to Marietta's mail box. When she was finally free she quickly climbed out of one of the windows in the HQ and walked to the corner store. A group of mobsters were standing outside the store talking to each other. Hi, guys. How are you? Business going ok for you today? Better than mine I hope. I had bad luck this morning on a drug deal. I flew down to New Orleans because I heard barbs were cheap there. As soon as I tried to buy them the cops showed up arrested me. I thought I was going to be stuck in jail for the rest of my life and never see my friends and family ever again. I would've absolutely died if that happened. Wouldn't you too? Although the people in the crowd didn't think going to jail was a big deal they politely nodded to agree with Zoey. I've been very confused lately. There's so many things I don't understand. I'm going to go crazy if someone doesn't help me. One of the men in the crowd gave Zoey a cigarette and another gave her a flask, hoping to calm her down.
