I hate to give the coder more work. I coder has a hard job. Coding, testing, recoding. But anything that helps us, helps the site, helps make the site more attractive to more players, helps us ALL!

Now normally this kind of thing goes into the suggestion thread, but since I need so much extra outside input and support, maybe we can get this thread rolling enough to get it moved to suggestion.

For the most part Durdens do not have a voice. They show up, they die, they lose HQ, they lose BG, but they never speak. I think they deserve a voice. Because if you shot my BG's, if you damaged my HQ, if you took shots at me or mine, don't you think I might have something to say about it?

Now, nobody wants to see the same tired comments coming at them every time they do something. Wait, let me reiterate, the guys have done an awesome and clever job of providing us funny messages when we complete certain things that we need to see. These messages for Pp'ing, GR'ing, shooting people, petties, felonies, etc are great, they are comforting. Because when we see them we know that we have done the right thing.

I DONT WANT THIS TO CHANGE.

I just think a little interpersonal communications like whispers, last words, mail messages, and any other comms you can suggest RIGHT HERE!

Here is the deal, I am recommending they be clever, pertinent, hard core burns, and as many different ones as you can come up with, separated by commas, so that they can be more easily pasted into a database. 

That way on the most outside possible chance that this is actually considered, it be usable.

Let me kick this off:

You call that a shot, My mother BG wacks better than you, Hey man nice shot, Who needs BG's, De Gea could have blocked that one, Hey nice try better luck next time, That was just like an HQ Destroy only smaller, Was that a BG whack attempt, Just like a BG Wack only smaller, Misses are not a sign of weak manhood just kidding yes they are, Its ok it happens to everyone just kidding it only happens to you, This one time I shot like that right into your mum, Have you met our boss Tyler, I am going to take a little trip and put your lights out, Did you do know we can fly and shoot back, My gun and I will be seeing you real soon, Ouch you shot me right in my coccyx, You shoot like a pregnant footballer, He who lives by the sword dies while at work logged off, What did I ever do to you, I guess I should have bought more bodyguards, So glad I bought all those bodyguards for you to shoot, OUCH, I hope your gun rusts, Yes I can laugh off shots like that, I will remember you next time I spawn just wait, If you shoot like that I would hate to see you drive, Please please use that gun on yourself next, Remember aim for the moon is just a figure of speech, Wow there are quite a few flies around here oh wait that was a bullet, You should have spent less money training your gun and more on your boobs, Delivery for Mr Mongo, You really put my lights out, I am going to slam you like an old screen door, What is your mums number oh wait its here in my phone already, Are you on crack that was a horrible shot, That really hurts my chances to be promoted, It was an accident my ass, No really I am sure you shot me completely by accident, You have more excuses for failure than success, Look inward for a reason for your failures, Success is only one shot away, See you again in an hour,

See how I do not punctuate at all, but I do use commas but only to separate complete comments? You give it a try! Please don't let this thread die!

I don't understand why you thought you had to post this here in order to garner support and ideas. That is what happens in suggestions. People read it, add their opinions to it and do exactly what you want them to do here. It doesn't need to be here in order to get moved to suggestions. In fact, here in Out of Character, the PC have no way of supporting this idea if they like it.

Ok, in retrospect, a bad idea. The exact example what SHOULD be in suggestions. Sorry.

A lot of work would have to go into this including usually some form of competition to RPer's for what they could say but after a while the novelty wears off from seeing the same messages over and over again. Something like this was done for MIA/RIA/NPC's to have last words and was then scrapped. I don't think this is worth the time and effort for something that will either become stale or will need constant updating.
