You know what pisses me off about all this? You get a guy like this...
Clearly he is making no effort to contact any potential family. He's making no positive contribution to society in any way. He had been inactive since the day he landed here, but finally, today, he "woke up" dead. He had been brought to my attention by a couple of my family members who noticed him sleeping on the bench outside the HQ, and wanted to know if they could "Take care of him". You know how kids are these days, always anxious for a little target practice. I had to turn them down. We all live by the same set of rules right now, the code of murderers and thieves that prevents total anarchy. As much as I would have liked to let my guys hone their skills on this guy, I had to tell them "No". Hell, I wouldn't have minded having a shot at him myself, but I didn't. And my guys dutifully didn't, either. It is not that hard. Their lives did not become empty for not being able to shoot him. They just moved on to other, "legit" targets. I thank them for that, and I wont have to punish anyone because of it! But he still winds up dead. Not really sure how, but it happened. Now my guys give me that look. You know the one. Like "Thanks Boss, that coulda been MY kill!" Cant say as I blame 'em either. So, my point is, If you find yourself looking at a homeless guy walking around, you better show restraint. At least until we can get things sorted out around here. It wont kill you to find another target, but it just might kill you if you don't. This should be a known policy by everyone by now. It has been five days since the war. If you do not know better by now, you do not deserve to live. |

BOOOO HOOO!!! Your crew didn't get the kill, so you decide to whine about it in the streets. Just because someone else is going to pop him doesn't give you the right to as well. You know what that's called? Justified thinking. "Oh, if I didn't sell him the drugs (That killed him) then some other drug dealer would have done it! So I might as well have!" Stop fucking crying. |

Wow, you're an idiot, huh? He never said he should be able to shoot him or that he had a right to shoot him. Try listening to what has been said. Pull the cock out of your ears and put it back in your mouth. The point of this was that breaking the established rule is not harmless, because it punishes those who are abiding by the rule. |

Moron. My crew could have. I could have. ANYONE could have. But we didnt, because it is against the rules that the leaders have decided on for the time being. The account Im showing here is just an example. Im pissed off because the people who follow the rules are getting shafted. Not in the long run tho, I suppose, as we dont get killed for breaking rules. Is that what happened to your father? Sour grapes, Chump? |

| This has become quite...ordinary. However, I see few people in the obits that are sponsored, which means some of the leaders aren't punishing their members for breaking this widely-understood law. | |

You can't necessarily say that no one is being punished Zishla. There ARE other means of punishment aside from death. Could be demotion or loss of gun. Most crews DO say that if their members are caught shooting at invalid targets they will be killed, so in that respect I do agree; However, to say that no one is being punished is going a bit far. |

BPB, (may I call you BPB?) I can completely understand your frustration. Yesterday I had a crew member come up to me with a similar situation, except in this particular case, the unsponsored in question (Webshister) was 7 days old, but still not inactive. I even went o he touble of contacting another cl for help. The cl agreed with me that Webshister should not eb touched. I relayed this info to my member. Today I am looking through the obits page, and who do I see but he very same person that I had denied my crewmember the chance to shoot. It is intensely aggravating to follow the rules and then see others, with less honor, capitalize. However, sometimes the right choice is its own reward. |

Or we could go the opposite way and lift the ban? Like you said, it was a person who has clearly made no effort to be active (slighty OOC, sorry) and has not attempted to find a family, so why do they deserve to clutter the streets that we walk? Kill them all I say. Kill them all until they die from it! (stupidity intended) |

Ted, you're right, we're definatly getting to the stage where we need to lift this ban. But until then, we have to be 100% on the rules. If you start saying things like "If hes sent no mails he fair game", it just opens the door to too many loopholes for people to take advantage of. |

I see both sides of the argument as fair points, however- if you have been on these shores for longer than a few days without even attempting to seek refuge - you probably don't deserve this protection. Members of our society must be functioning members in order for them to be at all worth having in our society. Just my two cents. |

I look at that person sleeping on the bench and I cant help feeling he was a target. These people have been around our world forever despite the gods not liking it and punishing people when they can. What is a target, its quite simple. Some people the innocents, the everyday people who buy something from the 7/11 instead of making a withdrawl like most of us do. Well these people are conned by mafiosa with less morals than most of us to sleep on the park benches for a few days after being dragged into this thing of ours. Then after 5 days or so they wake up to be shot before they become inactive and are subsequently shot. Phantom-Ghost, Zishla didnt say that "no-one is being punished" he said some people aren't getting punished. Which to be fair from my experience and my families experience is of no real suprise. Superted, why should we lift the ban completely? I am sure Hi would agree with me on this, if someone can't hold back from shooting someone because a rule says so then that person doesn't deserve to be in the possession of a gun. prophetofdeath, some people who haven't contacted anyone could be totally new to this thing of ours and have yet to realise about mailing unless someone contacts them first. |

I couldn't agree more with my neighbor. Though it might be tempting this is the way things are right now, and guess what it doesn't matter who you are or what you want you can try and fight it all you want its not going to change. We are in a state of rebuilding this thing of ours and we are all putting a lot of effort into this to make it work, holster your guns and take legit shots if you are un sure about it im sure there is someone around you can ask and if there is no one around who cares, move on. He claps for Bi polar and makes his way to the front so he can speak. Was a wonderful speech BI polar. This rule is working wonders somewhat, but we still have people who try to sneak these in. I promise this killing will stop soon. I just think that we need to be more strict about it. People make mistakes, but when your warned in mobmail, HQs and personal message? Thats being a tard and not listening. Some people won't listen and there gonna be punished. He claps again and lights himself a Lucky Strike as he makes his way back through the crowd. |
