| Mass Mail To Contacts | Started by: PlayerCommission on Dec 27, '12 00:23 |

I wouldn't go as deep into it as giving the RH/LH or even CLs for that matter, further privileges. I think this should be based solely on game time for your current character thats using the mass mail option. We should really define what we feel is an acceptable number of hours, though. |

Well, 100 was just a number I pulled out of the air... I forget not everybody puts in massive amounts of hours in the game :S
I would say 20 or 24 would be a reasonable number.
I'd be interested what the average amount of hours put in per character is.. So we could go off a more concrete number.. |

I'm not sure how often we're all cross referencing the PC discussion to the original thread, but one of the users suggested something like this for this topic and I figured I'd toss it in here.

That's a great idea actually... if you can get a gun in 75 petties you should be able to send a massmail in 100...
the only real issue is that you could do 100 petties rather quickly... and 100 petties wouldn't really be enough in order to not want to risk your account, you know what I mean?
You'll be willing to ditch an account that you've done 100 petties on much more quickly than you would one that you put 24 hours into..
Maybe, we could have a Wiseguy rank requirement - and then have it be 1 massmail per 100 petties... I think that would be reasonable? I'm unsure really what an appropriate ballance would be... |

It doesn't have to be 100 exactly. I was just including the idea as something else to build off of. |

Oh, yeah, I get that... I'm just trying to think of what a good amount would be :/
100 sounds in the neighborhood of what I would like... but maybe just a bit more? |

Please go through and make sure I get the final summary of the features already passed so that we can get them coded in. Lets put all discussions for features on pause until we can get the older stuff taken care of first. |

So, now that all other ideas have their final summary written up. I think we should keep this simple really, though 100 petties seems like a little amount of effort, its more effort than someone using the feature to simply spam folk would go to, imo. |

Good timeing there Nino.. I also would see no objection to 100hrs when linked to Master accounts, that is entirely fair. |

Everything sounds good to me. I think that this is simple enough, and the requirements to do it are fitting so I'm looking forward to the vote being held. |

I would like to pin down an exact number before we vote. If the majority are fine with 100 hours, that's great, but we still need that voiced by people. |

With the time frame we are working towards I would say set to vote with 100 hours as the minimum to kick in. |

We are still saying that these hours are locked against the master account though, right? |

Your contacts are bound to your master account. If you die, you keep your contacts on your next character. If your contact dies though, you do NOT get their next character automatically. |

100 hours is cool with me. Seems like a better requirement than 100 petties. Unless anyone else has any other suggestions. |

It would have to be tied to master account as opposed to the current account as I've clocked up 600 hours in 4 months so that would be at least 3 weeks of game play every time you start a new character before you can mass mail again. |

I thought along with a time, we were imposing a rank requirement as well. |
