yeah it is a very simple idea, its just a sound to let us know when someone is talking in crew chat, like facebook does :) it can be set to sound or not in configs. Its just to help people who are doing things in other pages to know when someone are talking.

I guess it couldn't hurt... but it might be annoying to code in. I know I wouldn't bother having it turned on though. 

it will be fast mate and will help so many people :)

I've plans to make the chats more useful. May be a bit before I can get to it, but it's coming.

Aye I agree highlighting sounds much better.

Then, highlighting it is. A sound option wouldn't be horrible, but let's see what Mr. enkindle can come up with :)

A sound option can alert the player if they cannot see the chat at the moment though.

{enkindle, personally it'd be a huge help to me if you could tell us what is gonna go in the new chat system cause at the moment all chat improvement suggestions are just sortof spinning wheels as we assume a lot of the ideas will be in the new chat feature. Do you know what features will be going in, and if it would be worthwhile to sponsor and pass a few of these?}
