Im going to make this short and simple as there are lot's of suggesstion's you guy's have to go through.

I have played lot's of mafia games in my day and for the most part i alway's loved the option to be married to somone. Maybe just a simple coding, well i don't know how simple it is but anyway. Just maybe have the option to marry someone just like as if you were to invite someone into your crew but instead as you proposing. And maybe in your profile just add something like Spouse: None.

Don't really think this is needed. As we have seen over the years, people have married each other on MR even without this addition. It was just a simple matter of adding a link on your quote going 'Omg, Thiz iz my honey bunny!'

Interesting option, but I don't think that the coding would be necessary as it can simply be rp'ed as Flea said. Maybe there can be additional features of marriage, like sharing the bank with your spouse.

I do not see something like this being supported. As I said in another thread, suggestions that are copycats of other games are likely not going to go very far. You have the option of role playing a wedding already, we don't need proposal and spouse features to go along with it.

Then you could just deforce someone and take all their hard earned cash.

I remember asking a girl to marry me in game on here, roleplay wise. Cassi remembers it too. It was stupid and immature, but some people still like doing it... by means of roleplay... and I'm all for people making fools of themselves so... that type of marriage is cool with me. Also, if you're with someone, you can easily mark it on your profile as many people do...

So no. There's no reason to code something in. It would make the game kinda cheesey. 

Oh, and to note, Cassi was not the one I asked to marry me even though she's amazing and so on.

Not a fan of this. At all. Like you, I've saw this option in many other games and it can be a useful option in them, but I see no need at all for it in this game.

The only purpose would of it would be superficial. It really should be left up to roleplay. There's no benefit. 

Well, there's no reason to have pitchforks, but I could imagine that if this idea actually had support and was passed... people would be fighting over women lol.

I am absolutely positive you were talking about yourself and to that time in particular. Just remember that some people may feel you were making a blanket statement and feel offended.

In my first character, I decided to be very much into heavy role playing and my character fell in love with another one and even though we didn't marry we were a couple and role played it in the streets and so on and so forth, so I don't think that is "stupid and immature". It is simply an aspect of role playing some people decide to divulge in...

Oh, and I agree with all those that said that it can be role played so we don't need code for it.
