YOLO/You only live once

 its a great thing to let loose and have fun me and my friends or always having YOLO moments we decided to start them last year and weve done some crazy shit. I mean we have always done crazy shit but its different. Im very very curious to hear the feed back on this and I can only imagine the outragous tales we or about to be told but i would like to hear some stories of THE BEST YOLO moment you have ever had, or even the craziest. hell if you want to share more then one go for it. Ill kick us off with one of mine.

One day I get off work and im heading back to the house and my girl friend hears a commercial for Red Lobster and shes like in a craz talking about we should go to BeaumontTX (its the nearest one im in Louisiana and its a good 1 hour our so away. She was just joking so we ended up pulling into a gas station and as she is in the store i call my brother, roommate,and best friend and told them lets go to Beaumont for the hell of it they agree and i hop in the driver side and she gets back in the truck and asks why did i hop in the driver i yelled YOLO and Speed out to Beaumont shes like WTF haha so we all arrive in Beaumont at Red Lobster and proced to ordering and joking well in the middle of eating my friend stands up in his chair and tosses his plate clean across the restaurant screaming and ranting then bolts out the door out of shock we chase after him and he is taking off so we follow him and catch up we are like what the hell happened all he could say was YOLO and just busted out laughing so that just started the night

So we all decide to go watch a scary movie at the theater which apparently my roommate didnt want to go see because he stands up in his chair ranting and raving flinging his popcorn on everyone and his soda, so we all fled like hell from there

about an hour later we decide to go to the mall and my roommate decides he wanted to go into Victoria secret and try on they're lingerie and me and my friend have a sword fight in Spencer's lol

to wrap the night up we are heading home drinking and we decide to stop at walmart and have fun riding the bikes around good all wally world

cant say its the best yolo moment out they're but it was just a fun night so lets hear your tale

One crazy, hot summer day. My two favorite people in this entire world, my boyfriend and my bestfriend and I decided to have a YOLO moment. We dicided to go streaking. I live in a gated community. So.\, I think it was quite a shock to see three 19 yr. olds naked and acting like lunatics. We got away with walking around naked for about 45 mins before someone called security/police and needless to say we had to do about 3weeks of cummunity service and we had to write an apology to old man and woman who saw us.

I guess I'm just an old person at heart..

but it really disturbs me when people use the phrase "You only live once" as an excuse for stupid, irresponsible and immature things they do. I blame Drake for that though.. he has made a phrase that has been around for a long time to encourage people to step out of their comfort zone, overcome fears and enjoy life to a fullest.. into an excuse for young people to get high/drunk and/or do stupid things and brag about it.

I know many people can argue that doing stupid things and using mind altering substances is living life to the fullest and what not.. but... I don't know. That phrase just means something totally different to me. Shrugs

I know a soldier that hot pretty seriously injured by an IED blast in Afghanistan. They said he actually died for, like, three minutes while he was on the operating table. That was two years ago, and he's made a tremendous recover, but for whatever reason they're keeping him in DC for ongoing therapy/observation. Yet he still clubs like a madman.

That, my friends, is a serious bucket of YOLO. In fact, he went YOLO so hard, he fucking broke it.

That in mind, "you only live once" should be revised as follows:

You only live once, unless you die and come back, then you get two times to live, then you still might die and come back a second time, I mean who knows, it's crazy but totally possible.

well gypsy explain to us what living life to the fullest means? I dont take drugs and Rarely do i get drunk, and i dont do anything to harm people. you only live once to me means don't over stress everything. sit back have fun and enjoy your life.

Surely there are more stories of only living once inspired events. lol it dosent have to be like gypsy said stupidness
