This suggestion isn't too complex or difficult. The main purpose of it is to balance out stealth users who may have a disadvantage based on their names.

What I am suggesting is that Page 2 and when needed, Page 3 of the local list of a city displays the total number of people at the bottom, much like it does for Durdens.

We all already know that if the locals consists of a page 2, then there are 150 names on page 1.

Those with vision who are able to see all 150 people on page 1 can then deduct that nobody with stealth answers are on page 1 provided that their name begins with a letter that is towards the first half of the alphabet.

So for example, let us assume that there are two people, of the same rank. One persons name starts with C. The other persons name starts with W.

If a user saw 150 people on page 1.. but the user with the name beginning with C was not listed, it shows that he is not in that city.
However, without knowing the total number of people on page 2, this same conclusion cannot be made for the user with the name beginning with S.

We may see 100 people on page two, but we have no way of knowing if that is 100/100 or 100/101.

If we are given the total number of people on page two as well, then having a name starting with a letter towards the end of the alphabet will not have a tactical advantage.

I'd rather remove the knowledge completely, just split the total number of players visible to any given players' account over two pages. So if I can see 180 of 200 I see two pages of 90, not one of 150 less the stealthy guys and one of x.

That is feasible, however this does take away one of the advantages of being on info/vision.. and using deductive reasoning which I do enjoy.
I am not looking to give info/vision people a disadvantage... as I believe stealth users already have a heavy advantage. I more so am looking to make the difference between two identical accounts even, as I don't think a users name should influence an imbalance.

So is this to blame for my confused state at seeing so many in one page now? :D

I guess there is no need for sponsoring this idead as it appears to have been resolved?
