Very simple, when you die there will be a option if you want to delet your char so you can use the same name again, what you guys think?

Your character still has use when it is dead. you have a funeral, grave robbing and the killing of remaining BG's. How do you propose to get around that?

Yeah, it can't really work... Eventually you can use the name again, but not for a while. 

most of the time it is more fun to build up a new character too.... sometimes trying to rebuild the same character is hard and takes the fun out of the game.

Alternatively you can always be creative like sonofsonofabomb and just keep adding sonof in front of your name every time you die :P

indeed, but for those who want to keep the name, maybe an option to delete the char after 48 hours, all you can do with corpse you can do in 48 hours, gravedig, BGs and etc

You always have the option to use the same name, just adding characters to it. Such as -Arkangel-, -Arkangel, _Arkangel_, _Arkangel, Ark_Angel, -Ark_Angel-.... I think you get the point. They are deleted after a certain amount of time, any earlier than what is set up, is really not needed.

I don't like this idea and here is why, lets say there has been a war and you come back with the same name, the odds that you get picked up by a new crew is rather slim unless someone vouches for you. And once you hit 48 hours people will be gunning for you.

Thats just my 2 cents.
