Was life better when the Mob ruled Las Vegas?.

 mob and organized crime are synonymous. Now I believe "crime" is the operative word here and anyone who thinks things were better when organized crime was in control obviously has a very myopic view of the city. Their views can't possibly be objective and they may be in dire need of an ethics course. I'm not an expert but this seems to be a classic case of historical revisionism.

I say to you Mr. Coolican, ask some of the victims or their families throughout the country if organized crime is better than the rule of law. No personal offense intended but I think this story borders on propaganda if not completely so.

It's still kind of an unwritten rule of the net that if you quote someone or use their words that you give them credit for it, rather than try and steal all that credit for yourself...


Perhaps a better way would be to say "I saw this article here ---> and this guy saud this ---> what do you think?"

Rather than just posting someone else's words blindly with no apparent connection to anything else.

Or indeed he may have even said something...
