"Are you serious?!" Tatiana asked as she stepped out of the car after Marietta, giving a small giggle of shock as she followed the blond woman over to the small soapbox that had been set up on the corner of Grand and Fourth Avenue in Detroit.

As serious as can be, the woman responded, giving a smile to the small crowd of already gathered mobsters. "Oh wow," was all Tatiana could say, taking her place next to the makeshift podium. Can you give me a hand? I hate this part. So stupid. So stereotypical. Immediately Tatiana offered her hand to the Don of Detroit who clutched it hard in return. Sighing heavily to herself Marietta stepped up onto the box, balancing all her weight evenly before turning slowly but surely to face the mobsters. At last when she felt safe she released her associate's hand, giving another well placed smile towards the crowd.

Ladies and gentlement, gangsters and thugs. I want to thank you for being here today, and welcome you as well.

She paused briefly, looking out across the crowd and picking out familiar faces here and there. Not wanting to stay on the box too long and risk falling off and breaking her neck, she waved her hands excitedly and launched into her speech.

You're all familiar with the plan, I am sure. The plan to get fourteen crime families up at the same time has been no easy feat, but I finally feel we're drawing to a close on my muddling and interfering with the other cities. A small, polite smattering of laughter rose from the crowd and Marietta nodded before continuing. Either way, we have already seen New York fill it's second place, and I only feel that Las Vegas, Philly and Chicago are not too far behind.

Even though we may not like it, change is on the horizon. Change can be a bad thing for some, but for the majority of us and for the future change is necessary. Not many have agreed with this plan from the start, but for those who have I want to thank you. It is a dream that myself and many mobsters of old have envisioned for years past, and now it is finally becoming a reality. Nothing warms my heart more than to know that it is thanks to the help of every single mobster out there that this is happening.

Giving another moment of thought she was suddenly cut off by a man up front. Tipping his fedora towards her the man gave a nervous smile before asking, "Don Marietta, what is to become of Detroit?"

Ah! Yes! Thank you! she said enthusiastically, clapping her hands together. I almost forgot what I was saying.

Now that Doyle has packed up and left, the city of Detroit feels a little empty without another family here to help run the city. And trust me- the city is definitely big enough for another crew.

So with this sort of decision upon my shoulders, I reviewed and considered... well I'm not going to lie- only a few people- before landing on the perfect candidate who could fill the shoes that the man left behind. And trust me, this man left behind a lot of shoes. He moves to Vegas and suddenly he's like that Rockefeller guy, rolling in dough. Anyway, I digress.

The person I chose is someone I am excited to see in this position, even though it worried me slightly that it took him five minute to figure out how to open the door to his new headquarters. Besides the slow thinking, though, he is a man that is highly active in the Streets, as well as active within my crew, and who has a positive attitude towards this thing of ours. Though at times he has been known mainly for his huge fault of putting the family bank accounts into a negative state of affairs with a horrid gambling addiction, I also know him to be of reasonable judgment and a level-headed man all around. Again, this was all besides the wrong key-incident.

I have the highest faith that this will all work out well. As a precaution, though, I have hired a few people to keep him out of all the casinos within the Seven Crime Cities.

Through it all, I know that StripheCorelli and his new family will be a very stunning addition to Detroit, one that I welcome with open arms and more importantly- an open mind. He's said some strange things, ladies and gentlemen. Be afraid if any of his ideas ever come to fruition.

I'll wrap this up now. I've never been good at the 'roasting' thing anyway. I will, however, end this with my most heartfelt congratulations to StripheCorelli. You will be great if you have faith in yourself and your family. Best of luck to you and yours. Make your momma proud.

Nodding towards Striphe she slowly stepped off the soapbox, allowing people to move forward and greet the man... unfortunately twisting her left ankle on the way down. AHH! THIS IS BULLSHIT! she cried, stumbling into Tatiana and trying to flash a smile towards the crowd through the blinding pain.
