| The Gatti Grassi Does Las Vegas | Started by: Gambino on Oct 30, '08 00:34 |

Gambino stood in front of the warehouse he had just signed the lease on and grinned to himself. It wasn't anywhere near as big as the one he was used to sharing with Doyle and The Wanderers, but it was home! He went inside and shouted "Hello!" just to hear his voice echo back at him. The empty building looked clean as a pin because the cleaning crew had come and gone earlier that afternoon. Now all he needed was to get a little furniture in...get some phones... have the lights turned on... damn! There was a lot of work left to do. He climbed the stairs to the second story loft apartment that would be his new home. It was already dark here in Sin City and he smiled to himself at the sight of all the lights glittering like stars outside his uncurtained window. He walked over to the window and opened it, taking a deep breath of the clean smelling air. He listened a few minutes to the night sounds then closed the window. He would come back tomorrow with some of the crew and get the place in order and ready for business. He took his time walking back downstairs and all around inside the building visualizing where everything would go-- a desk over here, piano over there, paintings on that wall and this one, too, bar along one wall. Yep, it was going to be perfect. Not too small. Not too big. Gam walked back outside where Mitch and Dexter were leaning against the car waiting. "I think this is gonna be good, guys." Gambino said as he lit up his cigar. " Should be, Boss. You know Dexter and I are ready, willing and able." said Mitch. Gambino stuffed the cigar into the side of his mouth and talked around it as was his usual habit. "You know,we've got a big opportunity in front of us, thanks to Doyle. We really have to bust our asses and do him proud, you know?" Mitch and Dexter both nodded. "That's the plan, Boss." The three big mafioso looked at each other seriously for a few minutes, then simultaneously as if on cue, let out a couple of thunderous yells, whoops, and hoorahs--grabbing each other in a crazy victory dance. They crashed into the side of the car and collapsed against it in laughter. When they all calmed down somewhat, Mitch clapped his friends on the back. "Let's go, Boss. We can spend the night at the casino. Maybe we can win enough money to dress this place up in style." "Win?! Bullshit, you two will lose your hat, ass and poncho! No casinos tonight. We are going to the hotel--No gambling. We've got a lot of work on our plates tomorrow." "It was worth a shot," Mitch laughed. They got into the car and drove away in the general direction of the hotel they had checked into earlier in the day. Life was going to be good in Las Vegas! The Gatti Grassi have arrived! |

Mitch puts on a his new tie, the red one with black stripes "Sin City eh?" Checking his wallet, Mitch starts towards the strip "Yeah, I'll be back in a minute Boss. I just remembered I have a meeting over at the Palms." |

I love Las Vegas.. Smiles and I know you will do good in Las Vegas and will love the city and the atmosphere.. I use to come to town a lot and gamble, but lately crime has been off the hook there to the point where its not safe to walk down the streets..Its good to see two families controlling the city, and good to see you in power. Congrats |

| Marietta steps forward, handing Gambino a small bouquet of assorted flowers. Flashing a smile towards him and his men quickly, she shakes all of their hands vigorously. Wow! she exclaims excitedly. Well I guess a congratulations is in order for you men. So, congrats! Best of luck to all of you here in your new home you call Vegas.
