| Christmas LCD Lights Bitchiness | Started by: Nelson on Nov 02, '08 15:54 |

Yes...It's almost the holidays once again. So I got out the LCD lights made sure they worked and seen what I wanted to do bought about four more sets as they were 50% off. As I was home making sure everything worked I noticed something. Outdoor cords will not plus into the LCD outlet but the LCD will plug into the cord. I am pissed and wanted to let everyone know. Now I gotta go out and find cords that will plug into a LCD outlet. I can't be the only one that has this problem. |

| I was pissed. I mean I am sure I can find cords that work but now I have to wait..The point of setting up now is so I don't have to be old in the cold. | |

Christmas lights are nice. Not a fan of setting up anything with wires/cables though. |

I honestly don't bother much with this until the very last day when I take out the tree which is white and has lights on the tips of the tree spikes/leaves (w/e their name is) and then slap some lights around the place so it won't look either deserted nor uninhabited xD. |

we replaced the complicated old mains powered Christmas lights with LEDs; which we found to be quite cheap and effective. We use battery powered ones for the tree and solar powered ones for outside, which we have been able to leave up /outside all year round. It is still a pain to put the tree lights up and get them down; but at least you can delegate putting them up to the kids. Just remember to take the batteries out between Christmases, or next time you will be dealing with a horrible acid leak and the battery pack and electronics will have been destroyed Buy them off Ebay and import them from China (but only in time for next Christmas) |
