There is a new feature that will allow you to reserve a character name so that only you may use it in the future. There are a few restrictions (such as, the name may not currently be in use) that are explained on the reservation page itself. You can find the feature on the Spend Credits page.

Only you may use your reserved name.
You don't have to do anything special to use a reserved name, it just stops other people from using it.
You may rename your CAs to one of your reserved names.
No NPCs (CA\MIA\RIA\Durden) will spawn with a reserved name.
You own a reservation forever. Or until you delete it.
