As the title suggests I'd like to see a feature that would allow for mails to be sent personally to a CL. As it is now CL mail is open to the RH to read, and while its easy enough to come to an agreement on how these mails are handled I'd still like to see an option for mails to only be viewed by the CL. Since many mails may contain personal information that people would rather not have someone read I believe that this would be a good feature to have in place. It may seem like a small change, but protecting privacy seems like a good motivation for implementing this. I'm interested to see what other people have to say about this idea, especially other CLs. |

A situation happened today where I would have been quite happy for this to be in place. Sometimes a member may not be willing to discuss something with his/her CL due to the fact that hands can also read CL mail. Understandably, I could just go to my CL on IRC, and have a discussion there, but this is assuming he/she is on at the time. I always pondered the reasoning behind why CL's do not have a separate, private, mailbox. Anyway, definitely a +1 for this. |

More often then not I would rather just speak to the CL and not their RH. I think this is a great idea. Especially for those that do not want to go searching for their CL on IRC. |

I like this feature. I think it is very good for CL's to be able to have their own private discussions with people. Yes a RH is a trusted person but sometimes we need our privacy, I hate having to ask people to get on IRC if I have to talk to them about something personal. I think this feature has been needed and was far overlooked. I am glad it has been brought to our attention now. |

I agree Michael I can't effectively cyber with someone constantly impeding my groove, so to speak. |

I thoroughly support this idea, little shocked it hasnt been brought up before. I know all CL should trust their RH implicitly but some things you just dont want to share. |

I completely back this idea why I never thought of it myself i'm not to sure, obviously if it is easy to code in I think it would benefit all. From a RP point of view it makes sense as a RH isn't always round the corner listening in to every conversation that the CL is having. |

You're a crewleader, the RHM can read your mail. Don't select a RHM and they can't read your mail. Don't be a crewleader and nobody else can read your mail. If you're a member and you don't trust the RHM, don't join that crew. Completely unnecessary. What sort of personal information is shared via mail on an internet game lol? |

Naive view from Ganked4. +1 for me I can't honestly see any downsides |

Why is it a naive view lol? This is a Mafia Roleplaying Game. If you don't trust the RHM, why have you joined that family? If you want to tell someone your secret fantasy, it is highly questionable as to whether this is the vehicle to voice those thoughts. This is a game. The downside is the time wasted on a completely unnecessary change when it is extremely easy to handle this issue. Regardless, If it is a quick fix, then I don't really have a problem. Just a bit pointless. |

Given that a RHM can change (often numerous times in the life of a family) and that mails pertaining to the game may contain sensitive information (specifically related to the RHM or perhaps a close acquaintance of the RHM) which might wish to be shared with the leader and not with the RHM... I can see some reason/justification for its implementation. That said, there are numerous work arounds for it which don't require a code change. I'm on the fence personally. Having lived with RHM being able to view my mail for over a year at one point I can't say I ever encountered an issue there, so would question just how valuable it would/might be. |

This would entail a little more work than it sounds, since its such a rare use case scenario, I would suggest using memoserv, until we could get around to doing this (which I fully admit would be a very very long time to get to the bottom of the todo list where this would be put) |
