I had this thought, I often use the back ally to test posts before posting them else where... why not install an edit button on the back alley threads? so people could edit their work, then repost it, check it out, and repost it... just in the back alley, not the streets or any where else. then, heres the extension of that, a post to streets/hq forum/where ever button?
Edit it, get it right, then post it straight to the streets, or your HQ thread.. I can hear complaints already, "What if we post the wrong thing? what if we're not done?" there are always safeties to put in place against that... and frankly, we could use the ability to edit a paper, share it with a few friends, then post it up for everyone. |

The new editor will shortly have a preview ability, so you can type it up, look how it will look exactly when its posted, edit some more, and so on. Once it is exactly how you want it, you can hit post to commit it. |
