| Nothing to talk about? Pffft. | Started by: Countdown on Apr 29, '13 12:41 |

Ok, so all this poster really is going to be about is a pat on the back to the people who have come out of their shells recently and a big fat WE TOLD YOU SO to the nay-sayers. Over the past few months after hanging around the coffeeshops and in the streets myself and a few people had mentioned how tame and lacklustre the streets were, to which they were instantly told "there's nothing to talk about". That (in)famous bloodline of Kuku was gracing us every week with tales of how dull the streets were. Oh how things have changed... Kuku is now on the way to becoming and upstanding member of the Philadelphia community! WHAT THE FUCK?! Almost every day we are seeing a new debate and even more pleasingly... new people creating these new debates. Yet we're still in the same situation with regards to death on our shores. How can this be? I thought there was nothing to talk about? Weren't we out of idea's just a few weeks ago? No, we were not. People were either in a rut or just scared to voice their opinions. A few people recently have pushed the boundaries with what we can and cannot say here now, there have been various posters with very heated exchanges and very few people have died over what they posted. WELL DONE... to both the people who took part and didnt throw their toys out of their prams and start shooting people they were arguing with and also to the bolds in this world who let things fly... the most heartiest and sincerest congratulations to the bolds who took part in these debates. After a whirlwind of activity my own presence has been slightly less apparent this past week as I have been taking in and drawing up conclusions of people and their respective city's. The streets are a fantastic place to judge people's character... out here people's emotions, ideals and personality are laid bare for everyone to see. Kudos to everyone who is joining in. <3 |

You see Kuku, this is how you create a discussion that can earn you some gold! Don't come out and tell us that you're great, come out and tell everyone else that THEY are great. On a more serious note though, the last few weeks have shown that the streets can be fun again and can hold debates without blood being spilled. It's the most activity it has saw in a long long time and it's not been down to any one person, it's been thanks to the general collective actually sitting up and realising there is more to life than robbing a 7/11.

Sanctionater battles his way through crowds of screaming women. Sorry about that, these ladies just can't get enough! The streets at the moment bring a smile to my face, I see people of all ranks and positions getting their opinion heard. More importantly I see people of higher positions listening, giving feedback and their own opinions to these wonderful people. As a community we are all pulling together to help keep these streets and a fun and much less scary place. Thank you all for that! Also thank you Countdown for noticing this and giving encouragement to those people that have not come out of their shell yet. |

Warrior & Teq - the two bloodlines where this really is as good as it gets. Neither of you are fit to tie my shoelaces. And, in case you're wondering, I always wear slip-ons, so that, right there, demonstrates the level of capacity. You see, I do not come to the Streets with a plan: rather I wander over and wait to be inspired. And inspired I am, sometimes for the greater good, other times by evil. Still other times, to attract those that walk the Streets to come to the Streets to listen to the Streets. I'm from the Streets, of the Streets and on the Streets. A Trinity, perhaps not Holy, but one at which I am adept at, wholly. Holy Moly, I'd best shaddup. Coundtown, Tyrion: I say this to you: it's been emotional. |

While I don't often find the words to say what I'd like to say, I can say i'm quite pleased with the activity of these streets right now, in thanks of the wonderful people who have been speaking out here often and getting subjects that aren't about slamming someone's reputation and are just there to talk. I've been attempting to increase my activities in these fine streets, but i'm not a good speaker or a good writer, but the thing is however, I try at least which is what i'm loving to see right now, people actually coming out here and trying and people not harassing them out of the streets over spelling errors and other things. Thank you Countdown & Kuku-, I can say you two have been doing a very great job in bringing these streets back to life. Mudkip tips his small top hat and continues on his merry way while some others start to arrive and talk about the subject at hand |

I must say, it is excellent to see our streets, bound for a return to their former glory. For years these streets were a hive of activity and central to our world as a whole. I feel that it is paramount that this once more becomes the way in which our world operates and I salute all the fine men and women who strive and work towards making it a reality.

There is plenty to speak on, it's just that people have become content sitting inside of their HQs. There isnt money to be made speaking on the street corner, so very few people do it. To those who do, I applaud you. I for one enjoy listening to everyone speak. Varied opinions, stances, or ablities to tell their points of view keeps me entertained and interested. What I really hope for is more appearances on the streets, from everyone. Spring is upon us, step outside, breathe in the fresh air, and leave your HQ for a few hours. Spark up a conversation, speak your mind on a topic, been seen, and be heard. |

At the end of Countdown's speech, Luger distinguished himself where he can be seen and heard then goes on with what he has to say, "It's jolly good to see the streets filled with such activity. My father was a decent speaker and seeing all of this has encouraged me to fulfill his shoes. With all the good feedbacks shown, I see no reason for anyone to be discouraged. I hope this big comeback continues to strive fore the nay-sayers won't win this battle." Luger stands along side with the crowd and waits to hear what the next person has to say. |
