The sun shown brightly on Cermack Drive as the men and woman worked tirelessly to load the last of Al-Capone’s ill fated crew into the trucks. One by one they were tagged and rolled up into assorted pieces of carpeting, you know, to soak up the blood. Those were new trucks damnit. It had been a brutal and costly affair for both sides, but the forces of the greater Chicago had prevailed handedly against the aggressors. Now the last man to be packaged was being tossed onto a large roll of carpeting. The man was Al-Capone himself. Quite fat, it took two large men to hulk him up and toss him onto the carpeting. Everyone noticed that the right finger on his left hand had been removed with what looked like teeth. It wasn’t a clean cut, but it was gnawed off the bone like a rare rib-eye. Every man and woman grinned at the sight of the nub. He was rolled tightly and tossed into the back of the truck with his friends, never to be seen again… The oak-wood door snapped snapped shut as WildTurkey threw it behind him. The pride he felt at this moment just compelled him to use more force than necessary. He nearly jumped into his chair behind his desk. Looking around the room, a sense of joy filled him. To the left and right were Godfathers SammyGarcini and Cpt-Harris, each wearing their large gold and gemmed rings. They also looked as if they had climbed a mountain using only their index fingers as well. Their city had performed beautifully when the enemies had attacked their sovereignty and bar them from the West Side. The stupendous effort of Chicago had lead to the invaders defeat, and now the West Side had to be settled. Between the two Godfathers sat Don Psychopath, loyal Underboss of The South Side. He has stayed up day and night hunting down enemy combatants. More than that, he had earned worked for months hand in hand with WildTurkey in Old New York, and as his Underboss in the SS. The Godfather could not have asked for a more hardworking and dedicated man to work with, it was truly a thing of legends. It was Godfather WildTurkey’s greatest honor to give this ring to Don Psychopath, and with it came the district of The West Side. It had been fought for and won, and it was now Godfather Psychopaths to rule along side his brothers. “You are a better man than any could have asked for, let alone me. I am truly humbled by your level of dedication and your ethical prowess in this thing of ours. I mayself, and Godfathers Sammy and Harris agree that you deserve The West Side as your own. With it comes your lands for your captains to govern, and a new stage in which we are overjoyed to welcome you too. You have earned this Godfather Psychopath” WT opened the drawer and tossed the ring to the new Godfather. Without a pause he caught it and looked at the crest. He then slowly lowered it onto his left ring finger. He was now truly married to the mob. It fit perfectly. He stood and the brothers embraced each other in exchange and SammyGarcini lead the way to the crowd that had gathered outside of their little bar. They had news to tell. |

Man, its been a looong road to get here. Your bloodline and mine go way back and I can't think of a more deserving man to take on this accolade. Since the day you came to South Side, working with my father, you had that drive, the fervor and all the other intangibles necessary to become a strong leader....and look at you now.
Your bloodline is well deserving of this title my friend. Just shows how hard work and persistence goes a long way.

Lynch got the phone call right away from one of his assistance that there was a big change going down at Godfather Turkeys mansion. After the long battle with Al Capone and the large amount of space in the city that now sat devoid of criminal presence he had a fairly good idea what the news was. Turning up his large hearing aid box dangling from his neck he picks up the phone and listens to the other end. "JOHNSON HELLO, YOU'VE GOT SOME GOOD BOOZE? WELL WHO WANTS TO DRINK AT A TIME LIKE THIS? I HEARD THERE WAS NEWS!" He waits for a response. "News!!! WELL SPIT IT OUT THEN, WHY DIDN'T YOU START WITH THAT TO BEING WITH. WHAT?! PSYCHO IS HOT AND BOTHERED? WELL WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU TELLING ME FOR!" Lynch Listens. "GODFATHER! WELL YES I GUESS THAT WOULD GET HIM HOT AND BOTHERED! I'LL HAVE TO SEND HIM MY CONGRATS! BUH-BYE NOW!."
Lynch turns down his hearing aid laughing at the joke he had played on his assistant and beings to dial Psychopaths office.
"Psycho. Lynch here. Yes. Yes. Yes.... ... ... No.... Yes to that two.... Yes. Listen the reason I called. I just heard the great new about you being granted the godfather possition in the West Side. Thats amazing sir, Congratulations! This is well deserved. I honestly can't wait to help you wip that west side into the best district Chicago has ever seen. This will be one to remember my friend. ... ... yes... yes..... y.... yes. Ok then Buh-bye." Lych hangs up the phon with a big smile on his face. |

Zyzz strolls past Godfather Psychopaths inner circle of bodyguards nodding a few. A stark contrast he thinks back to when he first approached the then Don Psychopath having just been given the nod to run his own crew as he was patted down several times before being allowed passage. Zyzz greets his boss. Old friend, having been with you since the beginning, i am absolutely overjoyed that this honour has been bestowed upon you and the Lights Out Syndicate. You've worked tirelessly behind closed doors and got many of us out of tight spots we found ourselves in. Zyzz winks. To a long and prosperous future here in West Side Chicago. Now excuse me whilst i set my men on the task of moving the gym equipment to one of these lock ups dotted near your headquarters. |
