this is all getting rather silly, over the last couple of days the amount of mails im receiving regaring shot attempts or deaths is through the roof.

to the bloodlines tarnishing their image by coming back over and over just to get their jolly's from pulling the trigger you should be ashamed of yourself... the war was lost, move on and let this world grow!

i realise not all of the opposing side's children are being such cowards and i applaud you guys! no doubt like myself you thought you may struggle to 'keep a lid on it' or not bother returning to these shores but we have instead accepted what has happened and moved on. we do not forget our mother/father's, but embrace that we need to start from the bottom again.

sooner or later this world WILL stabilise and some of the bloodlines dragging their names through the mud will regret their actions.

I had detected a vast amount of residual bitterness that's quite apparent in our streets. It seems there's always going to be a few who feel like they are owed some recompense after a conflict of any scale. Unfortunately in most situations, not this one, the dead do not complain and the living appreciate what they have.

As someone who is closely monitoring shots taken and deaths occurring, I might suggest you rethink your attack on those young 'ens emerging from only one side of the war.  

I can say with full confidence and certainty that it's happening from both sides. The issue is with idiots with nothing to lose, not with bitter feelings towards the war. I fully agree and concur with the requests for stupidity to end, but please don't spoil it with foundationless and incorrect attacks.

An interesting way to voice your opinion Orithyia, however i completely agree with what you are saying.

Everyone expected these streets to be hectic for the next couple of weeks, and you cant blame people, over 90% of the population has died, many many people are annoyed and coming to the streets hoping for a 1%. If thats how they want to be, let them be. They are forgetting about how things go in this world, we are not blood thirsty idiots who shoot everyone on site, we go by Omerta, building up our presence and gaining respect in order to progress through the ranks. These so called idiots will soon realise their mistake when their bloodline can never be trusted as easily as it was before.

However i do see both sides, i can understand the rage of seeing your entire city wiped out and you want to do anything to help it, but likes you said, the war is over, Whatsername had enough self respect to retire and let the world move on, if only everyone else could as well normality would return much quicker.

Everyone just remember, this is going to take time, and money, I assure you everyone is very busy and all of these unsponsored deaths is not making the process of rebuilding any quicker.

Please just remember if you died, you were not the only person to die on that day, it is not all about you.

 Completely agree, it is happening from both sides, but the CL's are trying to put a stop to it from our side. Whereas there is no-one to control the unsponsoreds just here to cause trouble, just a load of people thinking they are vigilantes.

This has been a recurring theme through out the history of our shores. People are upset that their fathers died and that their Cities did not prevail as the victors, but such is life.

It always saddens me to see some of the best, most respected bloodlines on these shores returning to take pot shots at low ranking, unprotected members. They do not achieve anything by doing this except perhaps, personal gratification for their spiteful actions.

My bloodline has been there before, many years ago when I  felt like nothing good could come of this place after my forefathers home city was wiped out. I spent months lurking in the shadows shooting bodyguards and taking potshots at other mafioso and then, an epiphany..

I smelled the roses and realised it was a pointless exercise in futility and that my actions would achieve nothing of substance.

Many people in the current climate, would do well to realise the same.

The leaders trying to sort out the issue might all be on the side of the victors of the war, but that's completely separate to the issue of rogue shots and idiotic behaviour. The trouble isn't being caused by the bitter kin of the fallen, it's being caused by idiots with nothing to lose. Idiots from both sides. 

As I look around at the current families, I notice that many of the upper positions in the families trying to address the matter are being held by kin of those that fell in the war on the 'other side' as you might put it. It's time to forget about the past and remember that we're all here now. There is no 'our side' any more. As I said, the idiots are coming from the kin of people from all four cities and from both sides of the war. Don't lessen the impact of trying to resolve this issue by getting it embroiled in a debate about completely irrelevant things. It's counter productive, factually incorrect and will just serve to irritate people that would otherwise be simply grieving for the loss of loved ones. 

While I can fully agree that some people are being ignorant and shooting just to shoot, there are others who truly feel that is the way they will change things for their benefit. That being said, given the world we live in, who are you to judge their actions? Are they committing more criminal crimes than the rest of us? While I myself have chosen to live peacefully for the time being, I can't damn those who aren't. They are doing what they think is right and I respect them for that.

In all honesty, they are probably getting more enjoyment out of it than I am, as my sons land on these shores and die after a few days because they can't find anyone who will take in a descendent of an enemy.

The problem we're having right now is that family heads can only sponsor 25 people (sometimes a few more if they get more invites out before others are accepted) and as there are very few made men+ around we're struggling to get people in as associates. This is a problem our family is currently encountering.

The people we do want to recruit, we can't.

Also with the vast wealth vacuum created by the war people are strugglng to muster money together for things.

I'm not sure how you can respect someone who is randomly shooting unsponsored. Especially as all the wack's we're having to deal with are just delaying us working harder to get bigger HQ's and more people setup and more of a structure set out for anything.

Who am I to judge their actions? I am just someone who gives a shit about the people I cannot unfortunately invite into the safety of our heaquarters who gets more disappointed every time she has to forward a witness statement request for another mobster who couldn't find a home in time.

I guess respect was the wrong word. I meant "understand." I understand why they do it. I came here for the land of opportunity and all that. Right now I have the land of boredom.

Well, if I may chip in... I don't think most of these shots are simply because of bitterness or hate. Quite a few of these are motivated solely by boredom and a desire to make as big of a bang as you can before going out. Maybe the current crop of mobsters don't want to live the same lethargic and monotonous lives their ancestors lived. Maybe they don't want to wait for about 10 months before they can actually use a pistol they have been training. Of course, most of them would be carrying ridiculously powerful hand cannons by that time. Maybe, they just want to cause some mayhem. Who knows?

The aftermath of this war has had it's fair share of bitterness and bitching. Not going to deny it but I feel that most of these shots are taken not because of irritation but because people feel that they age of diplomacy and the power of rules has temporarily been suspended  and from what I can see of this world, I would tend to agree. Some people like it like this and quite a few like it when there is order and there is no real need to fear for ones life.

It is the way our world works Orithyia I would suggest you get used to it or potentially find a more legitimate employment.

From the dawns of time within our world there has always been people unhappy with the powers that be, you can trace this back only a week and hear stories of Pew Pew reflecting her unhappiness at the powers that be. You can hear stories of underground movements who rank up and take random BG shots at those fortunate enough to have bodyguards. Then there is the final sort of person which is the Rogues they come part and parcel with our way of life though fortunately up until recently they have been exceedingly rare.

If I were a gambling man however I would lay a wager we may see a few more over the next 3 months.

This is true El_Nino, it has happened since time began and I realise there will probably be an unhappy backlash over the coming weeks/months.

However, I know that there was some experienced bloodlines taking part in the slaughter of unsponsored who bore no ill will to either side of the war.They were doing it simply to make a few small waves. It seems since I posted this there has been a drop in the amount of witness statements im looking for or passing on. I'm really not saying this poster is what caused the drop but I have seen some of these more experienced bloodlines re-join the ranks of 'normality'. Which, I must admit is pleasing to see.
