Chelsea? United? Arsenal!? 

Regain your senses people, I think we all really know that the league is coming back to Anfield next season.

I hope it'll be Chelsea, but I fully expect to see Utd and City challenge and Arsenal seem to be looking to make some big moves in the market, so hopefully they will actually mount a strong challenge. I get the feeling Wenger is trying to give it a good do before moving on after this year? Loads of rumours that PSG want him.

Don't think City are in there, to be honest. Not overly impressed/fearful over the Fernandinho signing and by all accounts it looks like Isco will head to Madrid. 34mill for a lad who's played for Brazil 4 times at the age of 28? You're welcome to him. Pellegrini is a good manager when he has total authority at the club and full control over transfers, neither of which he has. His successes as a manager have come from building a team from the ground up, and getting the most out of a group of players; neither of which are his remit at City. His job is to take an already incredible squad and inject that 'something extra' to turn them back into title winners and give them the hunger again. His only comparable experience was at Madrid where, let's face it, he failed miserably.

Moyes has an incredibly difficult job on his hands and it's not made any easier by the fact that he's got some very tough fixtures early on, which will make it difficult for him to build any momentum. Luckily, we have a very kind run in (on paper) and if we're still within touching distance around March then things could get very interesting. The Thiago signing (if it comes off) will be hugely important for a number of reasons. Not only his a fantastic, top drawer player; but a big criticism of Moyes is his ability to attract the best players and whether the Glazers will back him financially. If Thiago signs, it proves the Glazers trust Moyes' judgement and puts to bed any speculation that he hasn't got the ability to interest the best.

The Mourinho factor at Chelsea is huge. I think Schurrle is a bit of a daft signing to be honest, they need an out and out CF and, IMO, a CB. Still, they're the team to beat. If I was a neutral I'd have money on them to lift it come May next year.

I am waiting to see some of the negotiations actually come into fruition, without someone outbidding or out paying Arsenal.  Every year is the same linked to stars or talk said, but the truth is most of the time someone on the cheap comes in.  I hope arsenal spend money, but i want to see someone at the back, as well as someone at the front.  Will wait to see if a goalkeeper is brought in to challenge as is hard having hockeys equivalent of carey price between the posts when it matters often, he comes up short.  I would see a new rb and maybe someone with a bit more pace then mertesacker at the back.  I do not want to see rooney is the truth like all the papers talked about, but higuain and a defensive midfielder would be nice.

Ok, let me tell you as it is. With the stadium, the new sponsorship deals, the coaching set up and Champions League football, The Arsenal are on the verge of something big. Something very big. We are one of the few clubs in world football (alongside Munich & Manchester United) who are profitable and capable of getting bigger. Within this in mind, alongside FFP, the dream of the future that Arsene Wenger and the board came up with in 1999 is now well and truly within reach.

This is going to be a key summer for The Arsenal. With Higuain done. We are just waiting for Ancelotti to come in and sign it off. Julio Cesar due to join once the Confederations Cup is over. The Arsenal are strengthening. Alongside these, Sanogo is signed, and it is likely we will get either Mattias Ginter or Tin Jedvaj as a 4th choice Centre Back, we are strengthening now, as well as for the future.

Alongside these, a deal for a CM is in place. Terms have been agreed with Fellaini - who was recently on holiday with Arteta and told a friend of mine that a 'move to Arsenal is now down to Wenger' - however the deal is being held up as Wenger was to speak to Luis Gustavo once he returns from the Confederations Cup, who may well be available for cheaper.

Don't count your chickens before they've hatched. Marca and Higuain's dad have both confirmed that offers have been officially accepted from Juventus so it's ultimately up to Higuain where he ends up depending on what his preferred club is and who offers him the best package.

Tevez has agreed a deal with Juventus. Deal was done weeks ago. Highuain will not be going there. Also there is a lot of chatter about Ozil to Arsenal...

Tevez to Juve might just persuade Higuain to go there - having a strike partnership with your compatriot must be an enticing prospect. Then again, he might feel he won't have first team football as much at Juve over Arsenal/

Ozil is interesting, on the one hand he'd be a cracking marquee signing for yous - on the other you've already got Cazorla in that position who's done fantastically last season, along with the ox too. It's an interesting summer!

Cazorla got his highest %age of goals and assists from out wide as he was able to pick up space. Ozil is also able to play outwide. Can see them working in tandem like Mata/Hazard at Chelsea

Ozil would be a cracking signing for Arsenal. Can't see it though.
