im just curious.....

for those of us that are in school(college or lower) have your instructors done anything that has pissed you off?

i kno for me today is a prime example.....

go into school today after being sick for the last 3 days and i talk to my first instructor. i explain to her that i was sick the last 3 days and asked to get what she covered on her half of the class and she told me that i could make up all that work and gave me an extension until next week to get it done. i talked to my second instructure and gave him the same explaination and he has to think about whether he is going to let me make it up, on the grounds that i didnt call him. who in the fuck calls their instructors? who the hell even wants to talk to their teachers outside of school? that pissed me off!

Are you in college?

In college communication with your professors is very important. I try and talk to mine almost everyday either face to face or email at the least.

yes lynch i am in college and toberious i commuicated with the school on monday and like i said, because it wasnt direct contact with him he is like...."i will think about it"

Yeah, the school is okay to talk to but they don't really communicate with the professors and each one has a different opinion on missing classes/work.

You're always going to be better off to get in direct contact with each professor every time you plan on missing something.

I actually have personal phone numbers for all my professors. It can be really helpful if you are able to get them.

if i had problems my personal tutor was the only one i ever had to talk to, but been a few years since done that
