Is the GFC rulings from the past no longer in effect?
Do all members obtain this 7 day protection order? Or do those who are only properly wearing the family tattoo given this luxury?

I have to agree with this guy over here.  Those godfathers and godmother are long gone.  Should the current leaders get together and choose to create some similar rulings for the community is up to them.

Yes, the people who set those rules have long departed from this way of life, however, they are the rules that have been followed for a number of generations now. The rules set by that group of Godfathers have been ingrained into our bloodlines and our instincts. If our current group of leaders wishes to change things, of course doing so is up to them, however it seems reasonable that, since our current leaders have made no speeches which specifically cancel out those rulings, we still follow them until we are told otherwise.

The people who wrote the constitution on which the United States were founded are long dead and gone, but I'd truly love to see the reaction people would give if they were told "Hey guys, the people who wrote that thing are long dead and gone, so we won't follow it anymore".

Ziva there is a huge difference between the US constitution and some rules set forth by some long gone godfathers.   Don Creep set a time limit as to the protection order to which most of the crew leaders came to the announcement to agreed upon.  He didn't come to the streets and say "per the godfather council blah blah blah".   He set his own protection order!

Now having said that if the current leaders come back out here and tell me I'm full of shit and they wish to continue with the rulings set forth long ago, then so be it, but we need them to come out and say that.   When the godfathers that set these rules died way back when, the godfathers that were left came to the streets and announced they wished to continue on that particular path with a few minor tweaks.  We have not seen that yet, therefore in my humble opinion, those rules died in the last war.  If I'm wrong I'm wrong, that's just my take on it.
