Zmeika is feeling famished after her flight to Detriot and wanders the streets hoping to find a place to feed her growling belly. She smells the most delicious marinara wafting from a bar nearby and decides to go in and see what they've got. After finding a seat and purusing the menu, she waves a waiter down and says Good evening, could I please get the spinach chicken pizza roll, a glass of water and rum and coke please? Thanks! |

A car is running fast , swerving left and right as it deflect its chasers . Viene makes a sharp left turn making the wheels groan as it hits the pavement, she looks at her back and maneuvered another turn now at the alley . Its a good thing that she had memorize the loops and turns at the Motor City before she do the job. She did not expect it to be this hard nor did she imagine that she will get caught .
" All I need is to beat that red light over there , ditch this car and hire a taxi " she mutters her plan to herself , She knew she will regret abandoning the car . It is one of her favorite toy and to abandon it it sure will crush her heart.
After beating the red light she makes a right swerve and overtakes a few more cars before she ditch the sports car on an alley. She then threw her blond wig and hire a cab.
" Where to Miss?" the driver asked her . She slowly opens her vanity case and puts on a red lipstick , as if she have all the time in the world and that she wasn't being chase by 5 cars all looking after her blood .
After one last look at herself and satisfied that she looks perfect she looks straight at the eyes of the driver . " I heard of this exquisite Restaurante , right in the middle of Detroit . " she paused for some effect " I believe it is called The Motor City Bar and Ristorante "
The driver nods his head , " Yes mam, that place is quite famous here . Some big shots own the place. It is expensive though to dine there . Plus I heard that its dangerous for unescorted ladies to dine there . One will never know what will happen to them . " he told her cautiously .
Viene smiled at him " Do not worry mister , trouble is my middle name " |

the menu was impressive, but his wallet wasnt. Despite being the most loved pork product ever, it didnt make him rich. Leaving a trail of grease and sadness, he disapeared out the door as quickly as he came in. |

Alighting from the taxi , she went inside the restaurant and looks for familiar faces . Dissapointment can be seen on her face as she haven't seen anyone that she knew . Crestfallen she sits on an empty table and looks at the menu.
The waiter waits for her order .
"I will take Chef's salad and lasagna . And some ice tea please " |

After a long put very profitable business day India strolls into The Motor City Bar and Ristorante. She feels the eyes upon her as she walks to a small table next to the window. As she glances at the menu she can’t help but noticing all the intruding looking people in this establishment. She decides to start with The Uptowner. |

Caldwell was tired, bored and hungry! Business in Detroit always seemed to drag on forever. It was like being suspended in time for half a day! Caldwell needed to kill a couple hours. A phone call to a friend revealed they were just as bored. Caldwell's friend suggested a place where we could grab some food, have a couple drinks and maybe have some fun. Caldwell hailed a cab and told him where to go. Twenty minutes later they arrived.
Caldwell went inside and was greeted by two bars on either side of the room. Nodding with approval, Caldwell went to the Hostess and asked for a table for two in the dining room. Caldwell was seated in a timely manner and gave instructions to the Hostess before she walked off. A friend of mine should be arriving momentarily. She is fair skinned, of average height, a slight frame, dark shoulder length hair and will likely waltz in like she owns the place.
The hostess acknowledged the request. Caldwell picked it up the menu as she left and reviewed it.
A waiter appeared. Caldwell ordered a drink. This friend best be along soon, Caldwell thought. I have no intentions of waiting forever! Caldwell became even more hungry after reviewing the menu! It looked enticing! |

she was sleeping and the phone rang. dammit to hell what now! she yelled to no one. she answered the phone. caldwell was bored. blah blah she thought. caldwell would'nt shut up. It was easier to agree so I got up, showered and got dressed. an hour later I hailed a cab downstairs and told them to take me to the placeThe cabby sucked. He took the long was to pad the fare. Finally I got there.
The hostess seemed to watched for me. She took me to Caldwells table. I smiled and sat down. A waiter came and i ordered us drinks sine Caldwellbhad a empty glass. She hoped the empty glass wasn't a sign of bad service!

Three drinks later Caldwell checked the time. An hour and twenty minutes? Where the hell WAS she? What happened to "Be right there!"??? As Caldwell was swirling the ice in the empty glass attempting to get the waiters attention, Slings was escorted in. Caldwell knew in one glance Slings had taken way too much time to prepare and knew this was why she was late. Caldwell handed a menu to slings and didn't bother bringing it up. I'm thinking the Chicken Parmesan and House Salad. How about you? Caldwell said to her. Are you up for some poker after dinner? |

Your dinner is my breakfast Slings replied. I think I will have a chef salad. When the waiter returned with the drinks I ordered for us both. The waiter left to turn in the order. I said to Caldwell poker sounds fuI'm up now I said clearly implying Caldwell woke me. |

Did Slings just make a snide comment about Caldwell waking her? Caldwell wasn't sure and chose to ignore it. They chatted about insignificant things while waiting on the food. Dinner, breakfast, whatever you wanted to call it arrived in about twenty minutes. The meal was pretty good. The drinks were even better. So far, there wasn't really much to write home about. When they finished, Caldwell paid for dinner and they headed to the poker tables. They sat on opposite ends and flanked the players. This would give them an advantage. They had done this before many times and extremely successfully. |

After we ate we went to the tablew. We had done this before. caldwell was great at counting cards. When the odds was to our favor she let me know. I increased my betsa and we won a nice àmount for the boss. I was 30 grand up in no time and Caldwell was up too. We left for the airport with a good take! The boss woukd be happy. z On the way, Caldwell decided to do a little shopping. I wasn't sure what she was thinking but all shopping was good! |

Mercury finally found a place worth a damn! An Italian restaurant and bar.
Perfect! She needed a drink, or two, or seven! She entered the place and sat at the bar. The picked up the menu and flipped to the side with the drinks even though she knew what she wanted. It was always the same with her.
They had quite a nice selection here. She got the bartenders attention and ordered a scotch on the rocks. The took a cigarette out of her case and fired it up. She returned to the menu to decide on what she would have for dinner.
It was hard to choose! When her drink arrived she took a sip and asked for a couple minutes so she could decide. The Lasagna looked irresistible. Mercury called the waiter back over and ordered.
When she finished, she left twice what the bill was on the bar and headed back to her Hotel. |

It's been a busy day for Angus, the demands of the previous 24hrs have taken their toll and he's well in need of some much needed re-fueling. Having just tied up a few loose ends with the assistance of a local butcher, Angus is ready for a short break and has just found the perfect place to take a spell.
This looks just the job, Angus mutters to himself as he enters the building. Taking a quick look around, Angus heads straight for the Dining Room and is shown to a nice table with good views over the restaurant and front entrance. Ordering a Blue Hills Bourbon he sits back and examines the menu.
The menu is quite comprehensive and the establishment clearly caters for the more discerning customer which suits Angus just fine. Calling the waiter over, he makes his choice known. Chicken Parmesan would be just right I think. Would you please ensure that there's plenty of pepper added during preparation, easy on the salt though there's a good chap.
