Enjoying a warm sunny afternoon in Detroit Mikala was at a table on the patio outside her favorite restaurant. The cold blooded killer quietly hummed as she drank lemonade and paged through a fashion magazine. It was just another day in mafia paradise.

At another table a man was reading a magazine that caught Mikala's attention because of the bold words on the cover about an interview with the star of a new mobster movie. The man reading the magazine was completely enthralled with the interview. It made Mikala wonder what was so interesting about people who pretended to be mobsters.

A few days later a young thug approached Mikala in a coffee shop and asked her about her boss, CyrusTheVirus. After chatting with the thug Mikala jokingly thought her boss should do an interview for a magazine. Later as the cold blooded killer dismembered a body it occurred to her she could interview Cyrus and publish it in a magazine as an interview with an actor in an upcoming mobster movie. He could talk openly about the mafia as if he was in character for a movie. It was the perfect ruse, a mobster pretending to be an actor pretending to be a mobster.

The next evening over dinner and drinks Mikala told Cyrus and Charmed about her idea. The random observation on a restaurant patio blossomed into a new business venture for the cold blooded killer.  

"I had a meeting this morning with the owner of a magazine publishing company. Starting a new magazine isn't rocket science and it's a good legitimate business investment. People love reading about the next big thing in Hollywood, especially actors playing mobsters. By the time a movie is in theaters a few months after the interviews are published people won't remember who they read about. I even have a snazzy title for a new magazine.... "

Mikala went on and on until Cyrus agreed to be interviewed.

"After I publish an interview with you I'm going to interview mobsters from every city. Other than leaders I want to give associates, earners, quiet old timers and Average Joes fifteen minutes of fame."

Interview With CyrusTheVirus

Thank you for agreeing to do this interview, Cyrus. We'll start with a simple question. What's your favorite thing about being a mobster?

It's the fact that us, the community of mobsters have established a parallel order like the cops or the Mayor, I should say. And those mayors, I say feck em! 30% for what? I ain't laundering money. Back to the question, the greatest thing about being a mobster is really the idea that you're sometimes above the law, sometimes you can break it and mostly get away with it. So I guess the thrill of it!

Why did you become an organized crime boss?

I wanted this job and it was sorta needed. When the cities had to be rebuilt I was asked to be a part of it and I took it. It's a job that requires a lot, but done properly it leaves a mark on your members to remember. And believe me, it's the stories of days gone by that bring me back too.

How long has your bloodline been in the mafia?

Man! In Cyrus years, 24 days? Fatality years, 4 I wanna say, give or take, off and on. In dog years, Oh my God! I've broken the records!

What are the most memorable things you've read in your ancestor's journals?

You know I'm glad you asked this question. The reason why I regret some of my bloodline's reputation is cause of some of the things my ancestors did, that I would want back. My last well known ancestor was DavyJones and collecting soles isn't that great of a rep! Anywhere! But thinking back, I read logs from old days of Tither, where he met some old friends working for Godfather Marietta and working for Godfather TheDean. And for both those Godfathers we razed the place and we made history. But to me the fun part is what we're doing now. I love the rebuilding. It's slow, but I enjoy it. You get to take on new thugs, teach them, groom them and build them. The most fun for me is grooming someone. To me that's being a leader. Killing is easy. Build a colossus is doing something in my eyes.

A lot of mobsters are known by their nicknames. Why did your bloodline start with the nick name, Fatality?

Oh man, it's one I actually could lose. When my first ancestor started here he built a certain rep, some of it was awesome, some not so. And it's cause of the latter that I sometimes feel I had a little bit different of a rep. And now I feel like a old timer, with the mentality of a old timer. But Fatality is still the name I use in coffee shops. Why? Don't ask. I've yet to be able to find an answer to the reasoning. One of those spontaneous kinda things.

We've heard complaints about the same bloodlines getting auth. Recycling, more of the same, etc. Although it's been awhile since your bloodline has worn a bold suit should we expect the same from you? If not what's different about you compared to your ancestors?

Every time my ancestors had this opportunity they tried to grow as a leader. They tried to see things differently than the ones before them. My bloodline has worked along side some of the greatest names in our mob history. I can't say I've not learned. You're always learning. And so I always try to integrate other peoples qualities with mine, while I try to shed the underbelly.

But what should you expect? Well, the other day someone joined my family because I was from Davy's bloodline. He really talked Davy up. Not to be arrogant or proud, but when someone remembers your ancestor's work as a leader, you feel great, feel a sense of accomplishment that your ancestor helped someone become better. That's what I wanna be known for. Expect that.

You took over the district of Black Bottom in Detroit. Do you have any plans for the district you want to share or are they top secret?

Ah, a speech coming shortly. Look out! I've been thinking of a vision for this place for a little over a week. It's coming!

What advice do you have for young mobsters who want to make it to the top?

When my bloodline was new my first three relatives in the mafia died and I had no reason why. They never made Earner. Then came the first Tither and he got to Boss or Consigliere I think. Then next one up was a Don CL Digger. And the distance between those 5 ancestors isn't much really. You get here, you ask questions. There are aspects to this business, you wanna be a CL you sorta have to be the elite of the crop. You better know how things work here. You gotta communicate, gotta use the coffee shops, gotta learn to shoot, talk on the streets and earn. Do all that and it will get you to Don. You wanna be a leader, you gotta learn a little more.

The best advice I can give in this sense is if you wanna be someone, if you think they exemplify what you wanna be ask them. Believe me if they care to leave students, they will teach, if they don't they'll say fuck off! And at that point, you should know you're working with the wrong people. I remember my ancestor's first hit squad leader told me to fuck off! He's one of the greatest men here, but I'll never think of him that way. Cause knowledge is to be shared, not hoarded.

Your Right Hand gave me a question for you, what will you do if you're in the middle of making out and Charmed calls you about business?

Depends who I am making out with!

Last but not least, can I shoot the next person who attempts to pickpocket me? PLEASE, BOSS!

Kratos was running about carrying out his usual business, when he spots something familiar. But this familiar something that caught his eye was on the cover of a magazine, which a man was reading, sitting at a table at the local coffee shop. It was the picture of his boss, and something about an interview. He tilts his head to read the cover. 'Shooting Stars', that's what it read. The man lowers the magazine, looking at Kratos.

Uh? May I help you with anything, mister?

Kratos grabs the magazine from the man's hand, and continues reading, without a word. The man panics and leaves the table at once, probably assuming Kratos to be a lunatic. Kratos laughs at the poor man scuttling away and continues to read.

My, my, Mikala! This is indeed marvelous!

WideAwake, Yes, Phil's Steak's shot heard around the world and his suggestion got the ball rolling for a safety on our guns, but overall there were a lot of mistakes and accidents. We rarely hear those as often as we hear about his. Cyrus and I like to think we're special because the safety feature was added a few days after an accident with our relatives. 

Cyrus walks into this office in the morning getting ready to take on the day ahead. Grab me some coffee and the regular breakfast. Cyrus takes his coat off and puts it on the coat stand behind his desk, looks out the window and watches the hustle & bustle of the street down below. Charmed walks in behind him and puts his coffee on the table and puts some files on the table. You didn't even peek at it? Cyrus looked puzzled. Charmed handed him the magazine that was sitting on the table. Oh! Yes. I forgot, Mikala got this new magazine line going. Im on the cover Charmed! Winks at his RHM and opens the magazine and reads the interview. 

Bravo! Bravo! It was tons of fun...we had a ball of a time and she hit her questions on the mark. Im glad Mikala is doing this in the streets, we could always use more hustle & bustle in the streets. And I am always down for a couple of laughs. 

And WideAwake its a conglomeration of things. All fun and jokes though! 

Sioux read over the interview as he sat at a nearby coffee shop. What an immaculate piece! Rolls of laughter tumbled past his lips as his gaze dove into the magazine.

Reading carefully through the magazine, it was evident that Mikala had put so much time and effort. Being that it was the leader of the crew speaking there was no doubt in his mind that Tupac had to get his hands on a copy.

This was real good Mikala. You brought out a side of CyrusTheVirus that i feel many have not had the pleasure of seeing. I look forward to your next issue.

After a long sigh , Charmed sits across Cyrus...sips her coffee slowly. This caught the attention of Cyrus .

"Yes , anything you wanted to say ?" He pause momentarily on reading the files. "For goodness sake don't tell me you are aggravated on my answer to your question. Really Charmed , ...." before Cyrus can say anything anymore Charmed is giggling , Cyrus raise an eyebrow at her. 

"Pray tell what is funny Charmed ?"Cyrus stress on her name, she smiled cheekily at him before replying sweetly .

" Well it seems that with your interview , you became a hit with women, half of that piles of letters are love letters . That is why I didn't read them ..... all " she stuck her tongue at her boss.

She takes the magazine and read it again . "The best part of this is your answer on what are your agenda at Black Bottom. It gives anticipation and mystery for people to look forward to. " she then left the room while Cyrus is eagerly looking at the piles of love letters . 

"Now I wonder where is that woman, Mikala, I hope she still have time to do some jobs for me after this successful magazine " 

NANAinJAMA just woke up and was looking forward to a good cup of coffee and hopefully have a quiet day lounging in her jammies in the patio with a good magazine to read.  She was tired of the normal fashion and entertainment magazines that are laying around the house.  She wanted something more that she can relate to in her alternate world.

Alas!  the maid just brought a new edition of the Shooting Stars Magazine which perked her interest........

"Hmmmm....this is way too funny!  CyrusTheVirus portraying a mobster in a movie?  Oh how little do the outside people really know.  CyrusTheVirus has got to be one of the best Mafioso in town, with one of the best crew, I heard...."  While in deep thoughts, NANAinJAMA recalls how excited she was when she first heard about the posssibility of Joining CyrusTheVirus and his crew.  The fun and laughter that happens at the HQ...You almost feel guilty making a boatload of money since it's just fun all around.

NANAinJAMA knows that she has to slowly read this article and savor each of Cyrus' answer to Mikala's inquisitiveness!
