Tilting her head "Tell me who these bastards are and i will get my many contacts to keep a ear to the ground " she replied as she lifted her whiskey to her lips

"Well that's it you see, all 5 on my list are dead, your sister having taken her own life, but its obvious there is something behind this all. Vampires are not known for deserting their masters and killing indiscriminately, not now days anyway. Something tells me this Max may be behind it all. Corrupting Vampires and making them kill for him. just like he did to your family apparently."

Nodding to julian as he lean't down and whispered in her ear "You could be right, Get your men out and look for clues where this sick fuck can be " Her anger rose deep within her "Yes Savannah, right away i will get the jaguars onto it"

Savannah turned around and face her, "I owe Max one huge stake in the head, heart and balls for what he did to me Anita"

Anita smiles, but not a smile of joy. She could never emulate Edward, the way his fake smiles touched his eyes, her's was just that smile of grim determination.

"Rest assured Savannah, if Max is behind all this, you can do whatever you like to his balls, right after I blow his fucking head and heart to pieces. One way or another I'm going to put a stop to this."

"We will work together on this, understand i want him dead for what he did to my parents  and the humiliation he put me through" she growled lowly and in frustration

"Just as long as you know I can't protect you on this. I have a court order of execution, not you. If you kill this man, and the cops find out, they will destroy you as well. Having said that, I know how you feel, and I will not stand in your way should you have the opportunity to inflict a killing blow. You know as well as I do that the law has no concept of justifiable homicide whenever the supernatural are involved."

Anita pulls her browning and checks the magazine before sliding it back into her holster.

"Fine and besides i can make this man disappear and no cops can ask any questions, so mistakes there Anita. Max is a rogue vampire and needs to be killed, he may be working for a higher order from what my sources have found " Sliding a file that Julian had given to her to look at

Anita raises an eyebrow and takes the folder. She'd assumed Max was a loner, but if he was part of a group it would make things a lot harder. She opens the folder and starts to scan through its contents.

Rubbing her temples, she frowns  slightly as she pulled out a packet of asprin and drops a few into her hand, downing it with her drink "I thought that also but it seems that max had taking a liking to me when my family were at war with the family in Italy

Anita slides the folder away in disgust.

"So do you want to summarise this crap for me, or do you really want to waste time with me reading this big assed file?"

"I have found a trail of dead bodies going back to the time of the death of my parents leading somewhere in NY state area" she sighed

Anita sighs and shakes her head.

"I can't use any of this. All it is is a trail of bodies, but without the police investigations its all gathered by a third party without a proper chain of evidence. Max I can deal with, but I'm afraid that's where our partnership ends. this big bad that you hint at will have to remain your problem, or if they decide to exact revenge on me for killing Max then it becomes my problem."

Savannah sighed and got up, shaking her head she found that this woman was no use to her. Walking towards the door, she turned and looked over her shoulder "Then my dear, it seems that my search continues myself then" Her guards followed her  out through the door into the night 

Julian lifted his phone and rang around all his contacts, finding out a lead, before  ringing Gregori 

Savannah got into the car as her bodyguard mario, drove her back home to  her manor, laying her head back against the seat and drifted off to sleep
