Simply_Zmeika, or Zmeika as everyone seems to call her, walks around her warehouse, swelling up with pride. She had recently got the nod from Ladyfighter to set up in Brooklyn. It was an honour and a privilege she does not take lightly. The past few days have been a flurry of activity, getting her emporium and HQ set up. It's no easy feat to get all of this done in a couple of day, but it wasn't anything that a few greased palms and pictures of men doing bad things couldn't solve. She hears the distinct sound of heels on concrete and turns around to see her right hand woman walking towards her.

"Hey Alabama, welcome to our new place of business, the Pandamonium Emporium. I'm sure our family will flourish here. As you can see we have a legitimate store here in the front, but come with me to the back and you can see the warehouse.

A perfect place to stash a couple getaway cars and our drug distribution. Also, the freezer we got at the back of the store...well it may not always be animal meat in there. 

Upstairs are our offices, and the building next door is our HQ. I know it looks shabby on the outside, but I promise you the inside has been completely gutted, turning it into bar in the basement, a lobby and dining area on the main, and apartments from levels 2 to 15.

Where the hell is that left hand of ours? We can't wait any longer, the crowds are getting restless. Let's go outside and open this store up!"

Zmeika walks out to the front steps of the store where people are waiting for the grand opening, there are children clutching panda balloons and women reading through coupon books.

"Welcome one and all to the latest and greatest store on the block. It will fill all your needs, be it drugs...for your headache, money...from our wonderful loan services, or bobby pins...to keep that hair coiffed! I invite you all to come in and join the festivities. My associates are always willing to help. Now watch out, I hear there is some criminal syndicates roaming the streets, and I wouldn't want to see your purses stolen! Remember whatever you need, talk to our associates and we'll see what we can do!"

With that Zmeika opens up the doors to the store. Hopefully the mafisos she saw in the crowd now understand that the Pandamonium Emporium is open for business!!!

When i saw she was dead i just assumed it was a dead rogue. I know they aren't the be all and end all but anytime someone isn't IWP or IWF but gets given auth, baring in mind they're not the most vocal on the street, people's alarm bells start ringing. 

I assume a message was sent out to the upper structures of all the families but some times it's almost worth ensuring everyone knows. Better to be safe than sorry. Rest in peace, it's truly bittersweet to see you finally being given the nod to run your own crew met with your immediate demise.

Zmeika approaches the store where her mother was recently gunned down.

"Well", she says to no one in particular, "I guess my mother was a telling the truth when she said that pandemonium was to erupt in Brooklyn.  We just never imagined it would result this way."

With that, she walks away to go talk to the undertaker.
