I think u should be able to see your skills that you roll increase. EXP you rolled a 97% marksman. You complete 3 contract MIA hits an it should say 100%. Or even a whole new tab for character skills or something. what do you guys think. |

One of the best parts about this game is the mystery behind it. Allowing the player to see how much of an increase each thing gives you really takes away from that aspect of the game. Its not hard to keep track of your own stats and there are other, less definitive ways of course, to check your skills and see how you are doing. |

I have to agree with Toberius. What you've suggested is something that cheapens a game and makes it just like the rest out there. MR has mystery. It makes you think. It makes you guess. I could care less honestly where my stats are at. I'm here for the people, not the bragging rights of having a 99% wack skill. You can figure it out. Believe it or not there's less mystery than there was in the past now.. Shit, you can figure out your wack score by asking around for the spreadsheet that does it for you. |

I agree that it should be a mystery.
But as Midol has pointed out, it's far from a mystery these days, you can work out your exact wack stat down to fractions of a point. People painfully track their wack stat and PP stat and use the achievements as a guide on their other skills as well.
So what is the harm in it really? If anything it just levels the playing field for everyone... New people won't have to battle and struggle to understand the basic game mechanics, it would make it far easier to teach them as well.
Preserving the mystery is the only draw back to this suggestion to this, and that mystery died long ago. Hell if you were dedicated enough you could even track down to a couple of petties when you would get another unit :/. |
