War-terloo Started by: Ziva on Jul 09, '13 19:21

Ziva's musical side had been reignated thanks to the efforts of BrickTop on the streets. Leafing through her mothers diaries, inspiration struck her - she should sing a song about the May war, using the diaries for information, to break it down to the masses! And, one day far into the future, perhaps the tune would be stolen by a strangely dressed 1970's pop act originating from Sweden! "Oh yes," thought Ziva. "I'm on to a winner here!".

Making her way onto the streets, the hops up onto a bin, and begins to sing:

My my
In the May war, PH/NY did surrender,
Oh yeah,
And my mother met her end in that way,
The history book on the shelf,
was written by Cpt-Harris himself!

DeadlySin - you were defeated, CH won the war,
Phil_Steak - you died early doors too
SammyGarcini - the guy above killed you
Cpt-Harris - he survived all of you
DeadlySpikeS - hotpants do not look good on you

My my SpaceCowboy tried to hold Chicago back but they were stronger,
Oh yeah
It might've helped if his hands hadn't given up the fight,
But how could they ever refuse
When it was clear they would lose?

DeadlySin - couldn't shoot Harris if he wanted too
Garcini - couldn't get prowacked for poo
Phil_Steak - pro'er shot early on youu
Sinatra - lived right throughhh
Cpt-Harris - missed a trip to the zoo

War-terloo, there's an explanation of the War-for-you!

Ziva clears her throat and hops down, and turns to the crowd.

I appreciate that I may have used a touch of artistic license in creating the masterpiece there, but I would like to assure you all that no offence was meant by my words; should you have any factual changes to suggest, might I suggest you sing them back to me? If we can sing enough songs here today, we might be able to create a whole records worth of songs for future generations!

She stands in awe of her most lovely boss and he amazing voice. Angels could not match the perfect pitch Ziva had achieved.

It's nice to see a different take on what happened during the May war. Did you get Floury Tortoise to write this diddy? I do find it quite entertaining and a delightful welcome back to the cities after a long day of travelling in the summer heat to tend to other business.

She gives Ziva a cookie and smiles.

I'd sing, but I would pale in comparison to your amazingly awesome perfection here and don't want to draw the attention of the masses away from you. However, I will give each and every person who has the testicular fortitude to stand here in front of everyone and sing an ORIGINAL work a cookie and quite possibly a tip to show how much I appreciate their bravery.

Frank strolls along the streets smoking a cigarette as usual when singing catches his ears. He quickly made his way the crowd to listen to Ziva sing. Frank chuckles at the lyrics but finds himself clapping and tapping his foot to the rhythm. He waits till Ziva finishes then begins to speak.

Ziva, that was quite a lovely song. I must say I enjoyed it very much. Would you kindly sing another?

Ziva blushes deeply at the kind words of Midol and Frank_Sinatra.

I must be honest Midol, it was all my own, original work. I was wondering about perhaps cajoling Floury Tortoise into performing a work of his own though. Perhaps under the name of a 1960's British pop group, named after an insect. Maybe the Beatles, or perhaps the Wasps. There's a whole insecty world of possibility.

Ziva's face lights up as she is given a cookie.

Just to clarify, do I get a cookie for every song I sing out here? Because, well, if that's the case...

Her voice drifts off as she begins to rumage around in her purse, til she finds and pulls out a small container, labelled with the words "Ziva's balls".

I CAN SO DO THIS.

Hearing Frank's kind words, Ziva's face lights up.

Thank you Frank! I will most certainly work on another song, perhaps this time, I'll try a little something that can later by stolen by a man who will go on to use your name to launch his internationally acclaimed singing career, with a group of friends who choose to name themselves after a group of rodents...hmm... yes...

Alabama can't help but dance along to the dulcet tones of Ziva. She composes herself a little before approaching Ziva

The tune.. it's so familiar for some reason? My body just wants to dance all night to it! Your lovely accent helps to deliver such a perfect pitch, too. You truly are wasted in This Thing of Ours!

Anyway, I just wanted to stop and say Thank you For the Music, that song your singing. Thanks for all the joy its bringing, who can live without it? I ask in all honesty, what would life be, without a song or a dance what are we? So I say thank you for the music, for giving it to me, Ziva.

Alabama gives Ziva a warm and tender smile before dancing off down the street
