What's up my click monkeys just curious, what do all of you do for work? & Any funny stories you care to share?
I work for a company called ES&H (Enviromental Saftey & Health) out of Lake Charles La I am a first emergency responder/Technician I respond to oil & chemical spills (anything dangerous to the environment or health) Right before I got on with them they just got off the BP oil spill in the gulf of Mexico.
I'm actually heading back from a job I was in Norco, La. A few miles away from New Orleans I worked 36 hours straight, driving home now lol, they had a large Sulfuric Acid & H2S spill I'm a Valero spill. Had to wear a full HazMat suite then things suck lol
No crazy stories yet but I will post here if I do. And any other spills I go on. Heading out to texas fri on a crude oil spill :P |

Izzy I really like your job, asa matter of fact that's the kind of job I was planning on in my teens lol But now I sit at a Sawmill weighing out trucks and buying logs. Boring boring boring lol Been here close to 7 years, September will be 7. I took this job as a quick job for quick cash for a month or so and some how managed to stay this long lol very weird. Right now Im looking for something different. |

Aye most not be that bad of a job lol My last Job was funny did same thing. Walked in "I'm just gonna be here the summer" 2year later I'm the first leadman and forklift driver damn near working the yard my self. Haha but money talks so I took off early to go aply here they hired me so I chunked the duces to Brocks and came here haha. |

| Yeah, I was thinking that the other day. I was like how the hell am I suppose to have any experience if no one wants to give me any. Im from a very small town in southern Georgia so there really isn't many jobs around here unless you move to Jacksonville,FL or or travel back and forth everyday. | |

Not this job but the one before I took the guy aside and had a long talk with him lol. I was like I know yall want exp people but I'm just starting out, how am I supposed to get any exp if know one willing to give me a shot. I figure hey you can train me in the way that you want me to get the job done and I'm willing to bust mu ass lol |

Aye yes it is. I agree. But I was takking care of 4 people and my self because my mom and dad were out of a job. Then my stepdad got job after 7months and tgat was a shitty one. Lol and my mum is well. She don't really work. Wich I never mind I don't won't my mum to have to work. Im still trying to find a career o can really get into :/ start young man trt to figure n out what you want. |
