Gambling Problems Started by: Hellboy on Nov 30, '08 15:53
casinos are just like the gold rush, the people who made the money were the ones that sold the shovels not the goldiggers

better to buy a casino than to gamble in one.
Report Post Tip
I own a casino im nor rich. Its not doing to well.

Ive heard that saying before.
Report Post Tip
Its because you get the earnings for the week, then you spend it at another casino...
Report Post Tip
Did this Gambling Anonymous just turn into its own casino?

You guys sure know how to party.
Report Post Tip
Hellboy walks out after hearing Phantoms coment then walks back in 2 minutes later with 2 six packs and 2 bottles of whiskey. Yes we do know how to party.

I agree John and I think you will agree with me when I say lets party.
Report Post Tip
*Antonio walks in with cigars to add to Hellboys whiskey*

Whats a party without fine cigars?

May have bought some more but i errrr lost some money gambling.
Report Post Tip
One time, my father hit a hot streak and won $4,000,000 playing blackjack. Only to lose $6,000,000 immediately afterwards.
Report Post Tip
Hellboy looks at him and bows his head and shakes it. Antonio Antonio have you not learnt your lesson gambling is bad.

Hands him some money and says go buy some more quick but dont gamble that money.

Hand him so more money and go win it back.

*after hearing the stories, walks over from the corner and lights a cigarette*

I've lost about 10k in blackjack. not as much as some of you. I feel i have a problem as well. I'll win 10k and tell myself, stop here man, you've gotten enough, just walk away. and I will walk away. then the thought pops up, "hey, I'm on a winning streak, and I have enough money to gamble, a few more games won't hurt." then I lose half or even more of what i won. I've been try to battle my gambling urges and walk away when i'm up. but we all know how hard it is.

but getting rid of the casino won't do any good. what we need is a support group or something. we can get together to either help kick this addiction, or learn to better manage it so we don't get in to deep.

and now I hear detriot has a great roulette table...

BWAHAHAHAHAHAHA
Report Post Tip
OK Vamp the first step is saying and the last is stopping.

Ive tried out the roulette table its not that good
Report Post Tip
I haven't enough money to risk it on gambling, but I can hear the blackjack tables calling out to me.

"Go on. Just play one hand!"

It'll all end in tears.
Report Post Tip
Dont listen to that table it called me saying one hand and I played and one so I said one more I won again but then I lost and kept losing.
Report Post Tip
I think I have a solution. It still takes some will power. but put all your money into the bank. and pull out 5 or 10k to gamble with. something small. if you lose it, small profit lost, ah well. or you could make some big cash.

an even safer way, start up a bank in which ever city you spend the most time it (not a federal bank). when you wanna gamble, put all your money in that bank. then take out enough for a plane ticket and what ever amount of cash you wanna gamble with. then fly to another city leaving behind the rest of your money, that way you can't touch it until your aloud to fly again.

what do you guys think of this idea?
Report Post Tip
I used to put my money in an account other than a fedral but then I thought what happens when im in a war.

Your other idea is a good one.
