well guys the baseball season is in the final stretch and october is coming fast. i was hoping to get some thoughts from you all on who you think will win the playoffs this year. Boston Redsox lead the AL east 3 games ahead of the Tampa Bay Devil Rays and the Yankees are having one of their worst seasons since Joe Girardi left as their head coach. the AL central is lead by Detroit who is 8 games ahead of cleveland so i think the answer is obvious who wins that division the AL west is headed by the Texas Rangers who is 1 game ahead of Oakland. Does Oakland choke like they always do or do they win the division? The NL east is headed by the Atlanta Braves who has a commanding 14.5 game advantage over the Washington Nationals so i think we know who is the division winner there. The NL Central is headed by the Pittsburg Pirates who has a 4 game advantage over the St. Louis Cardinals. this one may be close? and the NL West is headed by the L.A. Dodgers who has a 4.5 game lead over the Arizona Diamondbacks... this is getting interesting already. Now lets move onto the the wild card standings.... the Oakland Athletics and the Tampa Bay Devil Rays are tied for first place in the AL Wild Card standings, and the Baltimore Orioles are in a close second 1.5 games behind both teams. This is actually worth betting on. meanwhile over in the National league.... The St. Louis Cardinals are tied for first place in the NL Wild Card standings and the Arizona diamondbacks are in second 4.5 games behind. this is also a good thing to bet on. what are your thoughts about what is going to happen? do you have any bets to make on this? |

i think Boston has a fighting shot at the world series but if they play like they have been this weekend they wont make it past the ALDS |
