You think you have what it takes to manage a high end mansion or multi-million corporation... well another way to generate some revenue is real estate!.... you go from a shack then to a apartment, house, condo, then a small, medium, large, and extra large mansion...OR small corner store to a market, ware house then small, medium, large and extra large corporation... while owning the property your revenue increases with every upgrade you complete... money will be generated in a hourly basis... You will be given the option to buy, sale, upgrade, or demolish any property owned...here is the TWIST!!! YOU MUST COMPLETE UPGRADES ON TIME!! EVERY UPGRADE YOU MISS YOUR PROPERTY VALUE and MONEY IT GENERATE WILL DEPRECIATE AND THERE WILL BE A PENALTY..PROPERTY CAN BE DAMAGED FROM 0-100%. AND DEPENDING ON THE REPAIR COST YOU WILL BE GIVEN THE OPTION TO REPAIR OR DEMOLISH YOUR PROPERTY.. Just like wacking another player, you will also be able to destroy their property and making it hard to do business BY taking out the competition...Also any money not collected before a successful attack will be awarded to the attacker...Depending on location, prices and property AVAILABILITY may vary...To do business you will pay the city Don and to be able to buy property you must have reached a certain rank.. The up side to this is more money will be made for players, a new addition to the game, and you will be given the option do something different if drugs aren't your forte.. The down side is this might take some time to complete, frequent wars over corporation and housing market control and high high repair costs... |

Uhm, so you want to implement a feature I've seen on other games into MR... An economy based on real estate, essentially the introduction of legit roles in a game based on the criminal lifestyle unless you are thinking of introducing yet another NPC character (Real Estate Agent) to the game. I've seen the "destroy property" thing on InJustice, MafiaMatrix, HonouredSociety, and a few others.. You've just added the BG upkeep/training angle to it. As for money made, will it be enough to cover the costs of the initial purchases, upkeep, and upgrades.. and repairs after they've been attacked? Would this reflect on the business district? How would it be implemented? Would owning cardboard boxes labelled as businesses be interactive or would it just be another click monkey activity that does not encourage posting and role-play? These aren't corporations. These are gangs. It's the Mafia.. Not the New York Stock Exchange. MR has always tried to be "unique" and not use ideas stolen from other games. If wacking isn't your thing, try pick pocketing! |

The problem with doing stuff like that is, it takes away from the flow of this game. Every game that I have seen something like that implemented, the players don't do too much of the text part of what is basically a text based role playing game. I feel like this place is already suffering from not doing enough role playing...a feature like that wouldn't help balance it out. Most mobsters wouldn't even have a ton of real estate to manage unless it was done under their Don. And crew leaders already have options to upgrade / fortify their HQ. So it wouldn't make sense for a bunch of people running around owning all the things. We have members at the moment who have more bodyguards than their own crew leaders; I would hate to see how something like this would come into play.

| you cold take way the real estate the mob takes over property's all the time they give 10% of what they make and you could role play by taking 3 or 4 guys with you and you could put BGS there to protect it you have to kill the BGS to take it and have to be don | |
