The Rourke's sing for the Orphans this Xmas Started by: QuagmireRourke on Dec 05, '08 17:14
Every year, around this time, us Rourke non-family Brothers with different Mothers and Fathers like to give a little something back to the community.

This year, we're performing at the local orphanage to bring joy to those less fortunate. Let's face it, the gift of music is perfect at this time of year (plus Fu controls the purse strings so there's NO WAY they'll get gifts.)

So please, sit back and enjoy our musical musings. Maybe spare a thought for a loved one, someone less fortunate than you or maybe just Birday.

For if music be the food of love, slap my bitch up!

*Quagmire, backed by his talented musical non-family brothers with different mothers and fathers starts to strum his guitar (which makes a change from a midget) and addresses the child who was orphaned 11 years ago*

Don't cry, it's Christmas

Santa's coming soon

Though you ain't got a mommy or daddy

Santa still loves you

He's driving here on his reindeer

To trample down the gloom

Don't cry, it's Christmas

Santa's coming soon

Brian, Eddie and Michael Rourke (ably assisted by the dead Archie) break into a barber shop version with a huge acapella crescendo of the first verse

*Quagmire turns to the less fortunate of the Orphans and sings the next verse, first to the little girl*

Don't cry, it's Christmas

Santa's feeling kind

Though you know you'll never see him

He's not just in your mind

Its not that he's invisible

It's because you're going blind

So don't cry, it's Christmas

Santa's feeling kind

The Rourke's non-family all star singers break into a rap version of the same verse

*secondly, Quagmire turns to the little boy, an almost tiny Tim figure in his gait and pallid looks*

Don't cry, it's Christmas

Santa's on his way

Though he's got to see a billion children

He's only got one day

You've got slightly less than that

If I were you I'd pray

Don't cry, it's Christmas

And it sounds a little gay.

RourkeyRourke resings this touching verse in his very own soprano voice

*Quagmire turns to the newly orphaned young 10 year old girl who feels that it's just all her fault*

Don't cry, it's Christmas

You know what Santa thinks

Even though you're the reason your daddy left

And your mommy turned to drink

And your Uncle George wouldn't touch you 'there'

If you just stopped wearing pink

Don't cry, it's Christmas

You know what Santa thinks

ThomasRourke and Fu kamikaze beat box' and gets jiggy with that verse

*Quagmire finally turns to the poor chap in the corner. He clicks, winks and points whilst mouthing 'this last one is for you, keep your chin up little man'*

Don't cry, it's Christmas

Santa will be there

Even though you're a co-joined twin

And you got the ginger hair

You know you're never getting laid

And no girl will touch you 'there'

Don't cry its Christmas

Santa will be there

The Rourkes re-sing the last verse in the styling of Rick Astley with a huge jazz hands finale

No need for applause children. YOU are the real heroes.

Merry Christmas and a Rourkish new year one and all!

*The Rourkes bow, exit stage left as the PA booms out 'LADIES AND GENTLEMEN, THE ROURKES HAVE LEFT THE BUILDING'

Applauds in a passionate manner

Bravo! Bravo! I do say, that really gets me into the holiday spirit.

If I see a tiny Tim character, I shall make sure to kick his crutch out from under him and sing about that too.

Walks in and takes a seat at the front of the room...

Very odd I must say, a bit on the naughty side but sounded nice.

Merry Christmas!

Gathers some 18yr old orphans and heads off out back...

Zoey wiped a tear from her eye.

That was beautiful. I've never heard anything so inspirational. Quagmire, lets get hitched and adopt all these orphans. They'll have a wonderful life working for us in Detroit.

*Looks at Zoey*

If you're proposing just take the family name...............

...........Yeah, why not. We can have wheelchair races and everything!

I must say it was quiet amusing. I laughed so hard I cried! but in all seriousness we should lay off the orphans they might very well be the next Don of your city! How would you feel if you got a new boss and asked him for a favor and he up and told you "Hey! I remember you! you sung about me never getting laid!" you can fugetabout the favor.

anyways good job Rourk you are a shining star in a desolate sea of the untalented :P

Claps till his hands hurt

Such elegance in your singing, I must say! The definition of talent! Those orphans are now gleeful, minus the presents, parents, and santa hating them.

*comes running up*

Did I here midgets?!?

You know how I feel about midget!

*thinks to himself,"Do they know how I feel about midgets?"*
