Pretty simple suggestion. The 4h mark disappears on an IA's profile after they've past 7 days, but can we have their names coloured in the obits if they're shot when they're still 4h (shot early). It's hard to tell what happened otherwise. 

I would love to do this. Simply put because it would help punish those who shoot early. 

I think it's not so much about punishment, but it's more about giving everyone a fair chance for the race. 

I'm all for this as well, it would provide lasting proof that the person was shot before the 4h tag was gone.

Totally agree with this, either colored or tag remains on the profile

Kill a player with over 4 hours gameplay = +1
Kill a player without 4 hours gameplay = Zero, and you've wasted your attack timer

The admins have made a decision on how to 'penalise' people who shoot U4's and this is it. It's demonstrably not seen as as serious as shooting -48 by the very people who created a 4H tag to begin with.

In my opinion, adding a permanent tag/colour would make it easier for the userbase to actively a pursue enforcing rule of their own making which hasn't been deemed necessary by the game staff.

I don't want to turn this into the ridiculous mugging debate again; so I'll clearly state that my point is if you have a rule that is difficult to enforce then evaluating that rule and the reason you have put it there is perhaps a better starting point than looking towards the game for a workaround that lets you enforce it with ease.

I think perhaps this suggestion was more intended toward people assuming they received a +1 when they actually didn't (could be wrong though), but I also get what Cantona is saying entirely.
 

Maybe a better idea is that the personal for the kill that the shooter gets (Xxx xx, xx:xx:xx    You WACKED! xxxxxxxxx.) could appear coloured, or at least the name of the victim in their personals could be a coloured link so that they are aware that they shot too soon - but also meaning people cannot enforce any ruling on it which answers Cantona's concerns.

I totaly agree with what you have said here EricNorthman as i do think some people are unawhere that they fired to early TBH.

And dont realise that they dont even receive a +1 for that shot.
