I shall be travelling to Thailand, looking for advice / tips etc from anyone who has travelled?

Before you even chat up a girl check her genitalia region to make sure they are in fact a girl

be careful if near the malaysian or cambodian borders

and be careful what you buy, as thai jails aren't a nice place

If you get a chance get to the islands, especially Koh Phangan as that's where the full moon parties and things happen and is also good for diving if you're interested in that at all. Koh Phi Phi is pretty cool as well. Bangkok was good but 3 or 4 days is enough in my opinion. Oh and try and get a train rather than a bus, they are obviously much quicker and you don't want to stop at some of the service stations if that's what they were that we stopped at, pretty grim.

You should take Perrin's advice as one of my mates made that mistake. Funny for us but not for him.
