As you can see, our lovely Ziva from The Loop has been removed from our world.  I, and others in Chicago, ask that anyone with a tag from the Fort Hubcap family remain untouched for the time being.

It was mentioned that I should... mention, that all members of Fort Hubcaps should stay within the Chicago city limits when looking to find a new home.  Other cities, please respect that a tragedy has befallen our city, and that we are doing our best to repair what damage has been done.  We have extended the same courtesy in the past, so allow me to call on those favors and expect the same.

Standard time is 7 days from the event. But these events aren't exactly Standard.

I would suggest that all allowances be made for those currently left homeless and some common sense used. (if someone hasn't been seen in like a month then its fair to say they'll be fair game... after the 7 days. But if someone hasn't been seen in 10 days, they could easily be away on holiday and should be given sufficient time to get themselves into a family)

This is simply my thoughts and by no means a confirmation of what to follow. I'm sure Chicago will confirm if they require more time than the standard 7 days or not.

Sad to see a loss as great as this. However, thanks to the powers we have in place the proper action was taken to minimize unjust casualties. I applaud those who took swift action in ensuring the safety of those unable to protect themselves in such dark hours.
