Tony is walking and hears about a boxing competition and walks up to Zmeika

Zmeika strolls into the Boxing Arena to check up on the sign up sheet, the last she checked it wasn't full yet when she added Ladyfighter to list. Wow there is now a whopping 17 number of applicants...wait how is there 17, she only made 16 slots! That TheSosa is a sneaky one, adding in a line at the bottom to squish his name in. Unfortunately, the rules stated the first 16 applicants would be enrolled in the competition, and TheSosa will not be eligible to participate. Although, if someone gets scared by the opponent they have to face in the first round and drops out, she'll know who to give a call to.

She reviews the list and considers what city they were each from, that's the way Ladyfighters always did it, and as a tribute to her, this is the way she will as well. Zmeika takes the list home to her office and begins trying to pair up fighters for the first round so they wouldn't be fighting against their own city. As she reviews the list further she realizes that with the overwhelming turn out from New York, she may have to make it so that people aren't fighting those from their own districts first and worry about cities later!

After looking for the list of fighters for a little while, Zmeika begins to jot down the pairings. It looked like there would have to be one Brooklyn v. Brooklyn in round one, but at least they are in different families. Zmeika reviews it again, and doesn't see any other way to rearrange things while still following the spirit of how Ladyfighter's bloodline set up the first round pairings. With the decision made, she prepares the list to be posted at the arena.

Balthazar made his way to the arena, hearing that Zmeika had finished the first round match ups and would be posting them soon. there was an air of intensity around him, his happy go lucky pie in the face usual self gone. He was still pissed off about what happened with Izzy, and he was ready for his revenge.

Wandering around the arena looking for a place where a list could be posted, he found it at the end of a long hallway. the list wasn't posted yet Balthazar started walking down the hall and didn't get to far when he ran into Zmeika, she was holding the list and with a nod he takes a quick look and see's that he is not fighting Izzy in the first round. Zmeika begins asking questions such as how's business and if he's excited about the fights, respectfully deflecting the question while he becomes angrier and angrier.

She continues to the end of the hall to the board, by this time Balthazar is seeing red and throws a knife at the board. The Knife sails over Zmeika's shoulder, sticking into the board between Zmieka's index and middle finger that are spread over the paper so that she can tack it up. Walking over to the board Balthazar realizes she is staring wide eyed at the knife stuck hilt deep in the board, very close to her fingers. He's almost impressed with his throw, that is until he realizes the knife is stuck right through Izzy's name. Balthazar smirks but doesn't remove the knife for all he cares it can hold up the list.

"He had better win his first fight, so I can be the one to take him out."

Izzy as sly has a zombie can be slips back in and take a look a the fight match ups his name was first paired with Forever, Izzy chuckled to him self thinking of how good this fight was gonna be! He was gonna mop the floor with Forever and then he was gonna make Balthazar look like a Iittle pissant.

Izzy looks about to see the turnout of fighters getting ready for their match, he notices the sexy LadyFighter and luscious AlabamaWorley thinking to himself Izzy drifts to a pleasant thought of the two getting in a fight.... rubbing up against each other in skimpy two piece bikinis covered in mud one of the tops getting ripped off Izzy slips deeper into a lustfull day dream.

Zmeika enters the New York Arena dressed in her best suit, and her hair pulled back into a ponytail. She walks into the locker area, and is pleased to see that all 16 fighters had arrived at the Arena, and were warming up. She wishes them each luck before heading to a quiet corner to go through some of her prepared notes. Zmeika had always been a bit of a nervous speaker, and with the crowd she was expecting tonight, her nerves were through the roof.  After reciting some calming words of encouragement and taking several deep breaths, she exits the back area to the big blue box in the middle of the building. She grabs the microphone and says,

Good evening ladies and gentleman, and welcome to the Total Knockout Boxing Competition, in honour of Brooklyn’s Godmother, Ladyfighter. In a few moments we will be started the first rounds of fights. There will be 8 matches with 16 skilled boxers. The 8 winners of this round will move on towards the grand prize of four million dollars! So sit back and enjoy the fights!

The crowd cheers and the first set of fighters enter the ring.

First Fight: _Izzy_(Brooklyn) v. Forever (Queens)

The opponents the Fighting Irish, Forever, and the man who hits like a truck, _Izzy_, gave it their all this round. But in _Izzy_’s effort to block his face from Forever’s left, right, hook, right, hook, he left his body open for Forever’s dig to _Izzy_’s body and follow through to his head. That thrilling combinations was what lead to _Izzy_’s defeat.

Second Fight: Balthazar (Brooklyn) v. Kpacumup (The Loop)

Balthazar versus Kpacumup, now that was a match to watch. Balthazar had been training against his crew mate _Izzy_ leading up to the competition, and it showed, he dominated the first part of the match, but somewhere through the fight Kpacumup managed to tap into some extra power and came back raring to go. Perhaps he was inspired by the possibility of uttering the words of the great Julius Ceaser. However, it was for naught and too late, he was defeated by Balthazar.

Third Fight: Fox (Brooklyn) v. Winchester (Queens)

The third fight was one to behold, the fluidity of a seasoned fighter like Fox, against surprisingly sober Winchester. Fox threw punches like a mad woman, Winchester could barely predict her next moves they were such uncharacteristic combinations. But Winchester fought back valiantly, with the grace that could only be attributed to his inner poet. But in the end, Winchester’s training sessions gave him the edge against the fanatic fists of Fox.

Fourth Fight: Perrin (Brooklyn) v. Althea (Bella Vista)

Perrin versus Althea, the battle of the Godfather right hands! These fighters were well matched indeed! Both of these fighters showed their agility, cunning and speed this round, proving their worth and reason they stand on the right side of their leaders. A healer versus a mangled zombie, it was a match of opposites, but one side must prevail, and it was clear on this day, it would be the zombie.

Fifth Fight: AlabamaWorley (Brooklyn) v. BacktoShootPeeps (Suburbs)

AlabamaWorley comes from a long line of fighters, with two titles to her bloodline, she was not one to beat easily. However, BacktoShootPeeps, rose to the occasion. He may appear older, with winkles forming on his face when he concentrates, but he obviously maintained a fighting physique. Watching these two honed fighters in this round was like watching a timeless dance. To every show there must be an ending, and AlabamaWorley will be back for the encore.  

Sixth Fight: DanaScully (Brooklyn) v. Tony_Accardo (Staten Island)

DanaScully, the lady trained by the FBI certainly had a mix of different techniques, there were moves she pulled that few in this country had seen before. Was she mixing in street fighting skills from Krav Maga? Luckily Tony_Accardo had said a quick prayer at the onset of the match, because he certainly needed all the power he could muster to defeat the techiques of DanaScully.

Seventh Fight: Raffa (Brooklyn) v. CaptainTeemo (West Side)

The fleet-footed Raffa was an odd match up for the short statured CaptainTeemo. Although Raffa could dodge and feign with such speed the crowds could barely follow, CaptainTeemo was a force of nature. He proved tonight that yordles could indeed fight, and fight well. Although he represented the yordles well in a close match the swiftness and fancy footwork of Raffa was a hurdle he could not overcome.

Eighth Fight: Stan_Smith (Brooklyn) v. Ladyfighter (Brooklyn)

Stan_Smith was sweating as he faced Ladyfighter, after all this competition was in her namesake. This was the fight everyone was waiting to see. After 7 matches the crowd was thirsty for more action, some even began shouting bets from the rafters. “$100,000 on Ladyfighter!”, they would call out. But the minute the fight started, everyone went silent. All that could be heard was the flashes from the bulbs in cameras, the squeaking of the fighters’ shoes, and the force of impact each throw, jab, and punch that landed. It was close until the end, with a TKO after Stan_Smith landed a swift and powerful uppercut to Ladyfighter.

Well that’s all for tonight folks, congratulations to the fighters who move on to the next round of competition, and for those who lost tonight, thanks for giving us a great show! To give these fighters a break to recover from injuries, we’ll see them again tomorrow, where I’m sure the fights will be even better.

Zmeika steps away from the ring, wiping the sweat from her brow. She looks up to see on the large board behind the ring, her assistant had already written out the next round’s pairings:

Flexes her muscles

I knew one day, that fight with Virgil would stand me in good stead for something. Come on Tony, I can take anything you throw at me!

Tony and his Trainer were ring side talking just within ear shot of AlabamaWorley who was throwing some powerful punches at the punching bag in front of her. 

" So what is your game plan for the next round sir?" asked Tony's Assistant

"Well Lance, I respect all my opponents and wish them the best of luck but i will not back down from any challenge. I entered this Boxing competition to win, and i hope i do. I will not underestimate AlabamaWorley and i know this match will be the most epic match on the score card. AlabamaWorley i wish you the best of luck in our match. :D" said Tony in reply to Lances question.

Before leaving the Arena for the night Tony got down on 1 knee and said his ritualistic Prayer....

And shepherds we shall be,

Power hath descended forth from Thy hand,
That our feet may swiftly carry out Thy command.
So we shall flow a river forth unto Thee
And teeming with souls shall it ever be.

After getting up from his knee, Tony reached into his pocket and pulled out 2 pennies. He tossed them on the table next to AlabamaWorley's gym towel and left for the evening. 

Wiping some sweat off his forhead Winchester takes a bow and sighs with relief. The first round fight took a lot out of him and he was surprised he could take all the hits that Fox landed, and even more surprised he could block all the ones he did. Tossing his towel over his shoulder he grabs a cup of water and quickly drinks his fill before making his way across the ring to shake hands with Fox.

"That was a good fight, you're a great fighter and hopefully we can do this again sometime. I could use a good sparring partner."

On his way out of the ring Winchester spots Perrin. Having watched his fight Winchester took some mental notes about area's he needed to work on and things he could do to make his next fight easier than the last. "Knowing your enemy is part of the battle" he said to himself as he left the ring. Winchester heads towards the Exit. Knowing he'll be training a lot over the next day, he heads home to get some much needed rest and a hot meal. The days fight weighing heavily on his mind...

Sorry im so late, did some one call for me, and wrap this day around me? so thoughtful of you all

Around mid-day, Winchester makes his way to the Arena. There wasn't many people there yet but he spotted a Zombie training with a few other folks in the sparring room. Taking this opportunity, Winchester walks over to the Zombie and taps him on the shoulder.

"Perrin, I have a proposition for you. This fight is more than just me working my way towards the top prize, it's revenge. I owe you a thrashing for turning me into a zombie. So lets make this a Zombie Vs Zombie Revenge battle. 1mil from each of us goes to the winner as well as bragging rights."

Perrin looks up at him, sweat on his brow and a grin on his face. Winchester makes his way over to one of the punching bags nearest to Perrin and begins hammering a few left handed blows into it and giving it the odd kick. The heat was on and this fight would bring Winchester that much closer to the prize money and the fame of winning the New York "Total Knockout" Boxing Competition. He had no intentions on losing...

Perrin looked pretty beat up after his last fight with Althea. Sure he was already decomposing and infested with maggots but doesn't mean zombies enjoy taking a beating. But they were resilient creatures so really you either gotta kill them or they will never give up and despite how tough that fight was Perrin didn't give up and eventually came out victorious. Getting tapped on the shoulder Perrin turns around to hear Winchesters offer. Perrin chuckles as Winchester starts to lay in some punches into the boxing bag. 

"Ah yes I remember turning you like it was yesterday. Good times, I was still young and fresh and had most of my skin still on me. A wager aye? 1 million?? Be careful young grasshopper you gonna be facing the Prince of zombies so your confidence is severely misplaced. But I always like to teach lessons and today you will learn yours. Consider it a deal. 1 million to the winner. May the best zombie win!"

Perrin and Winchester shake on it in front of the other people training in the arena. While Winchester goes back to hitting the bag, Perrin starts to sit down and whistle himself a tune, and picking maggots from his flesh then flicking them to see how far they could go. Perrin was relaxed with not a care in the world

Zmeika returns back to the Arena after a day’s break. The first round of fights and their celebrations definitely took a toll on her. She wonders how the fighters fair. After seeing their opponents fight the first round, she was sure that each fighter had tweaked their strategies in the ring. She greets her friends as she enters the Arena. It was a busy night, Friday nights are already the best nights for these big fights, she was glad to see such a turn out from New York to support their fighters. She enters the middle of the ring, with microphone in hand.

So we meet again ladies and gentlemen, welcome back! Tonight we’ll see four round of fighting, followed shortly by the semi-final and final match ups! So get comfortable and get ready because here we go!

First Fight: Forever (Queens) v. Balthazar (Brooklyn)

Today is the Irishman’s birthday, and being drunk as a skunk seemed to give him a degree of unpredictability that Balthazar didn’t account for. Balthazar started the match with a series of well-rehearsed combos, trying his best to get in several body shots. But with Forever’s heightened amount of randomness, Balthazar’s hits rarely connected. Suddenly, Forever began a serious of unconventional combinations, hooks, uppercuts, straight punches thrown without any real forethought. Balthazar’s traditional training didn’t equip him to face such a strange opponent, which ultimately led to his loss.

Second Fight: Winchester (Queens) v. Perrin (Brooklyn)

Zombie versus zombie! Although the rest of the infected populace had seemingly recovered from the zombie epidemic, these two fighters refused any treatments or cures until they could fight this round. They clearly had something to prove. It was a confusing match, with odd growls emanating from the fighters, limbs literally flying around the ring, and heads being knocked in angles that shouldn’t be possible. However, Winchester was unable to recover from the loss of his right arm and left eye which fell out after a rather nasty headshot. The zombie winner tonight is Perrin!

Third Fight: AlabamaWorley (Brooklyn) v. Tony_Accardo (Staten Island)

This fight began with Tony_Accardo’s prayer. Barely a second after Tony_Accado finished saying “sancti”, AlabamaWorley was rushing forward towards the man who was still down on one knee. He looked up at AlabamaWorley with such serenity, that it gave everyone in the audience a chill. After that moment the fight ended quickly. AlabamaWorley is a skilled fighter, but Tony_Accado seemed to have something, or someone, on  his side that AlabamaWorley was just unable to counter. She was able to get a few blows in, one time it looked like she had him knocked out, but he just opened his eyes, and popped up off the floor like nothing happened. The end of that match was a blur, but at the end of the match, AlabamaWorley was knocked out on the ground and Tony_Accado was standing, the victor.

Fourth Fight: Raffa (Brooklyn) v. Stan_Smith (Brooklyn)

The nimble Raffa against the heavyweight Stan_Smith. Stan_Smith, who won his previous match up against Ladyfighter, showed once against why he made it so far. The agility of Raffa was countered by the strength and the solid presence of Stan_Smith. Their styles were very different, and it was clear that they were both attempting to adapt their method of fighting to win the fight. Stan_Smith incorporated some street fighting skills that he learned from DanaScully, and Raffa attempted to match the dexterity of his feet with the dexterity of his fists, throwing quick yet complex combinations. But Raffa never considered that Stan_Smith would vary his style to incorporate what DanaScully had taught him, and he learned in this match to never underestimate your opponent’s ability to adapt. Congratulations Stan_Smith on a fight well fought and well won.

Let’s have a round of applause for our fighters tonight! Congratulations to Forever, Perrin, Tony_Accardo and Stan_Smith! We will see you back in the ring in a couple hours for the semi-final and final matches! Rest, recuperate, and re-strategize! Forever v. Perrin and Tony_Accardo v. Stan_Smith!

Stan has gotten one step closer to his goal the chance to bash Perrin from pillar to post only Tony_Accardo now stands in his way.

Perrin from here on bring your A game i am coming for you.

TM had been watching the fights go on the last couple days.  Smiling seeing an old friend of his still in the running, he announces out loud.

$200,000 says it's Perrin and Tony in the finals, any takers?

Tony was still a lil shaken up after that charge from Alabama. "Damn, that girl packs a punch!" he said as he was holding an ice pack over his left eye, which was black.  He once again goes to one knee and says his ritualistic prayer before hitting the punching bag a few times to prepare for his next fight.

Welcome one and all to the semi-finals of this boxing competition, where the winner will walk away with $4 million, and the runner up, also known as the second winner or first place loser, will be awarded $1 million for their efforts here tonight. But before we can get to the final match up, these four fighters: Forever, Perrin, Tony_Accardo , and Stan_Smith, must face off and earn their place in the finals. Our first fight is between Forever and Perrin, then, Tony_Accardo and Stan_Smith. Let’s kick things off with the one name wonders!

First Fight: Forever (Queens) v. Perrin (Brooklyn)

What a fight! It was over so quickly that it was like a blink of the eye and Perrin was down. It seems that Forever managed to find out a zombie boxer’s major weakness. I won’t be broadcasting how he managed to decapitate Perrin with one move, because it was brutal. Medics immediately raced into the ring to pull the parts of the zombie together, and provide Perrin with the anti-zombie infection medication he needs. It looks as if the luck of the Irish is held strong for Forever, and the cleanup crew at the arena is glad for that. They were beginning to complain about having to clean up so much flesh from Zombie Perrin.

Second Fight: Tony_Accardo (Staten Island) v. Stan_Smith (Brooklyn)

Stan_Smith was so focused on fighting the final match up with Perrin that he lost sight of preparing for this one, and like his previous opponent last round, he underestimated Tony_Accardo. Tony_Accardo learnt from his fight with AlabamaWorley, how to deal with an opponent to hits like a truck, so he spent dodged, ducked and blocked and hit when he saw openings. That was what lead to Tony’s victory against Stan_Smith…and that spirit that seems to possess him at the beginning of every fight.

After another small break, we’ll be coming back to see how the Final fight shakes up between  Forever and Tony_Accardo!
