"The Legacy series." i mean no disrespect, but if you are not going to be in character when you post this crap in the streets, expecting and knowing full well that it will grab the attention of those of us who most likely ask ourselves "why do we even give these threads the time of day?" and yet still post. 

seriously man, the streets are here for those of us who want to role play our character. True, my bloodline has made the mistake of posting things here that should have been posted in either the OOC forum and the Outside forums, but atleast i am owning up to it and learned from my mistake, which you seem to not have learned yet. You are, in my opinion, insulting the memory of one of MR's originals. Me and tiggy havent always seen eye to eye but i respect her for what she did, what she contributed to the game, that benefited the entire user database, which is more than i can say about your bloodline, from what i hear and read in the forums, to include the recent ones you have done. You can waste mine and everyone elses time with your antics when you have actually done something that at the very minimum, has benefited at least your district, if not everyone else around you.

While MidnightSmoker knows its a slightly harsh speech, he also knows it needed to be said and feels its high time for the streets to not be filled with so much trash like it has for the past few months

This speech may be a lot of things...slander being one of them but OOC, sadly it is not. 

MidnightSmoker, I am usually not one to defend the kuku bloodline but he has brought a topic to the Streets... the legacy of the legendary tiggy bloodline and he has expressed his own views on it, furthermore he has also invited others to express their own views on tiggy's legacy. Attack his logic or his opinion about tiggy not him, per se. Just reeks of someone not being able to provide an actual logical argument. 

Why is this trash? Because it doesn't deal with Flawed robbing a bank and then telling the tale in a chilling voice than can only be described a italics? Speaking of which.... what ARE the Streets intended for? Well, I was always of the opinion that it was to express yourself and to bring topics that you felt the masses would benefit from listening to. Sure, it shows a blatant lack of respect for someone who has been a pillar in this community...since before dirt..but that is HIS opinion. He has a right to express it. You have a right to be outraged by it. You have a right to fight him over it. Hell, if you think you have the power to do it, you can go ahead and shoot him the face. What you can't do... is try and force the Streets to be remodeled in your own ideas of the perfect world.. last time my blood saw that tried.. the Roman Empire came tumbling down.

He isn't the reason people don't come onto the Streets anymore... it's people like you. People who walk the company line. People who enjoy belittling any and everyone who brings a topic that is even  *slightly* removed from what your preconceived notions of the Streets are. Frankly, I am sick of it, too. 

Now that I've had my little rant...moving onto tiggy. I've never worked with her, nor has any of my blood. We may have crossed each other  on IRC avenue, but that is pretty much it BUT to say I have not heard of tiggy would be laughable. She was someone, from what I've heard, who always stood up against what she believed was wrong. She was someone who was not afraid to express her opinions and her bloodline.... was a very integral part of how I view MafiaReturns. It's a pity that people like tiggy,TeQ and Eric are being forced away.. they are all members of bloodlines who have been a part of this world for longer than most can care to remember and in my opinion, it is fucking disgraceful to see the way that they have been treated. 

It's like that old saying... irony ain't just a river in Egypt. Or something to that effect.

the above is taken out of the help tab. Where in his speech was he in character? sounds to me like this thread should have started in the OOC forum.

P.S. Notice that in the definition of what belongs in the streets, It says " The Street forum is intended for IC dialogue." Flawed posted from his RL point of view, not his characters, hence, this thread belongs in OOC. However, Had he role played his character in the initial post, that would have been a different story.

To charges of OOCitis I say this: consult City Hall, I will defer to their decision. It's obvious to anyone with a modicum of common sense or experience in this thing that discussing the legacy of someone's bloodline is for the Streets. OOC Avenue features a discussion started by me, relevant to that particular avenue.  No more will be said about this by me.

Back to the subject in hand, an analysis of the Tiggy bloodline.

Tiggy's ancestors, it is widely believed, acted in ways that were not only dishonourable, but transgressively offensive to the sensibilities of all decent persons at that time.  Canucklehead, a direct descendent of Tiggy, was a stooge of Roman and a major contributor to an infamous period in this thing's history, part of a malaise that created a unity coalition against the wanton misrule of that era.

Prem and Roman called the shots, sad little Canucklehead was a willing oppressor of all that is good. For that, and other, worse, incidents, hers is a toxic legacy, in my opinion.

Bad as Roman and Prem were in that era, they were protecting their empires. Tiggy was doing what she always did: abusing whatever power she had and proving herself unworthy as a leader.

His RL point of view? What does that even mean? Flawed presented his idea of the tiggy bloodline... the idea that was given to him via the many journals the likes of which all of us seem to possess. So where does anyone's point of view other than his own come into the picture?

He is JUST presenting his views on a bloodline and he has asked literally everyone else to come out here and give their opinions. You could have done what most of us would do and replied along the lines of 'Oi. Fuckface. You have a very wrong impression of tiggy, I can correct it for you...<enter generic experience with tiggy bloodline here>' and then gone on to argue the merits and demerits of this legendary bloodline. Instead, you in your infinite wisdom choose to respond with 'hurr durr disrespect!!'.

I will state, and not for the first time, that time and again, Tiggy's bloodline misused power, abused power, denigrated the ethos of this thing and bullied those that she could.
