Mitch steps up on the corner soap box to read his new poem to the gathering crowd There once was a Vegas kitty Who moved to New York City He was a very fine Leader of feline And the coolest cat of all Now some are mad While others are glad His house is nice And free of mice But some want him to fall We shall see What this will be Bloody killing Perhaps the good lord willing He can make it through the night But you can bet your ass and the whiskey in your glass That on this cold Monday It will be a great fun day Cuz this Thunder Cat will fight |

I would like to also point out the paradox of something being new and improved. If something is improved, it cannot be new for it has been built upon. If something is new, it can't be improved because there is nothing to improve from. There's only one idiot standing here. |

Well, one could always argue that something coming into existence is an improvement over the lack of that thing. "You've invented something called dentistry, you say? This is new?" "Yes, yes it is. And improved as well." "Ah, I see, I see. What was the old thing which has been improved upon?" "Constant misery." But New York already existed, of course, so this means nothing. And it was already new. Newer York? Silly. Omaha. Now there's a city that could use some newing. |
