Dexter was walking the ports of Detroit when he stopped a took a look into the water it triggered a flash back to when he was a Miami metro forensics blood spatter analyst but there was something nobody knew about him he had something more to him he was simply known as the bay harbor butcher. Dexters father Harry had taught him the code only certain people could die , it had kept Dexter in line and allowed him to justify his killings.

Dexter continued to reminisce as he continued to walk.

"I sure do miss those days" Dexter began to whisper to himself

"I could stalk my prey , gather evidence and always made sure they had to die I sort of made it a game the best part was when these men and woman were laying on that bed making excuses as to why it was just to do what they did nothing was ever just , they were just trying to make it right to themselves before they went."

Dexter took a deep breath of the ocean air

"Ah I miss that smell when I used to chop up the bodies and take a ride on my boat to rid of these monsters to give them their final resting ground."

Dexter stopped for one last moment

"Now that I am involved in a life of crime where murder is just business there is no more code sometimes you murder an innocent man because you are told , these days my passenger seems to build quicker inside of me , is it because these murders are unjust and I have become like the ones I promised to rid the world of or have I always been a monster and I finally have accepted it?"

Dexter finally clearing his conscience started making his way back to his Hq to get back to his daily business in this thing.

I think we all have a bit of an enjoyment to mutilate flesh from time to time. I know I have a passenger riding everywhere I go. 

The spirits of some make company for most. 

Take it how you want but you and I both know in order to live this life of crime there has to be a bit of crazy in all of us.
