Hoping this sparks up a bit of debate. I would personally (as well as many of my friends) would like to see the re-addition of another city. I believe when the cities were reduced to four, the thought process behind it was "Oh, well there aren't enough members to spread around." Well, if you keep reading you'll find the numbers to be quite different now. Members per city: 316 (CH) 173(NY) 94 (PH) 58(DT) Given the recent take down, it's not surprising to see the number a little lower than usual, however we'll use these numbers anyway as that's all we have. For those of you who suck at math (or are just too lazy to add, or make the connection) the totals = Chicago - 316. Everywhere else in the entire game - 325. There is NO reason that I can fathom as to why any one city should entirely in essence "own" the majority of members. So, I propose that it's time to open a 5th city, and give people some room to spread out. Now obviously as a Chi member I am utterly loyal to my city, but even with that being said I can't justify the numbers above. Yes, I do love being in the biggest baddest city that this game has seen in quite some time (if not ever). And yes, I do quite enjoy the perks that come with it. Even with those factors, I still think that there is complete room for spreading out. We have NINE less members than the rest of the entire cities. Not only would this give more people room for authing those who've not had the chance, but it'd add some more diversity to the political side of things as well. It would also take more money out of the game, which the admins are always looking to do. (HQs, Forts, BGs, etc). As far as the cons go? ... ... ... I can think of absolutely zero. Thoughts? Ideas? Popcorn? |

Heh, those numbers are slightly scewed because of Chicago having 2 more districts than any other city as well, I would agree that something needs to be shifted there, maybe add a city and remove 2 districts from chicago?, make it 3 in each city? That would surely spread things out a bit. |

| I am fairly new here, so I have a different perspective than some. The game seems to be "top heavy." I mean, there are a lot of high ranking players, and not as many lower ranking ones. I don't just mean created. I mean who are actually on most of the time; active players, if you will. Adding a new City will give these players somewhere to go to become CLs or even GFs. It seems like a great idea to me. I vote yes. | |

prior leadership allowing cities to stay empty for lengthy periods of time caused us to lose LA and LV |
