Lynch strolls into the streets after a long night of war, the kind you write about in your journals and laugh with your friends about years after. It had been a long night, but more over it had been a successful night. Now however, it was time to bring a little light to the darkness. Clearing his throat he spoke. 

Tonight The West Side, The Loop, Downtown, and the city of New York have attacked Blackbottom, Corktown, Phillidelphia and the South Side. We have multiple reasons for this but I will start by telling you my opinions then going over the timeline leading up to the event. Let my start by saying this however. The initial decision to attack these individuals was mine. I did it because i believed their actions were disrespectful to myself and because they put my people in danger. I just overall didn't like what they had done, and frankly didn't feel I needed to stand for it any more. That being said the following events occurred. 

The main reason for the attack today is the events in Philly but its got a little more depth than that. I was displeased about what happened in Philly. They were my allies and were taken out for little more than a power play. I considered this a complete smack in the face. To add to that, two of Chicago's GF auths both initially from ChaosSpike were the ones doing the attacking. Chaos claims that he was not informed about the attack, but my gut honest feeling tells me not believe that. Either way, he was involved today because I believe he should be held accountable for Alucard at the least, if not Subtle as well, and frankly after three months of rumors about us killing each other in the I find I can no longer trust him and will not let him pose a threat to my district any longer. Regardless of this fact, two of his boys attacked my allies without any heads up. Its not even so much about the fact that they killed Philly as they disrespected me. If they were capable of that, what else are they capable of in the future?

Thats all before saying this. The next part is the icing on the cake for me. I have gotten multiple word, most specifically mails from Alucards former LH Lawrence that there was some sort of "Inner Chicago clean up" being planned. That "Lynch was on the outs" and "after Philly he wouldn't last long." Now take that for what you will, but what some might call Rumors you could easily also call leaks. When its a hand saying it, it tends to carry a little more weight. With all this information and the fact that all I could hear for the past 3 months is that Chaos and company were coming for me I decided I could no longer take the risk. I am done playing the games, and will not subject my district to that sort of liability. 

Now yes, Lawrence was killed for this under the guise that it was false and he was causing trouble, but from my perspective he was killed because he let some info slip and it seriously put Alucard, Chaosspike and the rest in danger. Not to mention the fact I've heard the same type of thing from multiple people after the events in PH. Regardless of this though the disrespect I saw in Philladelphia and the threat to my district were enough to act. Facts can be debated, but I do not play lightly when it comes to the protection of my district and my friends. 

Taking all this into account early the next day after the attacks in PH I contacted Ladyfighter, a close friend since she came from my district months before, with my intentions for war. After a discussion she agreed to aid us in our removal of PH/DT and Chaos. Shortly thereafter the rest of NY followed and Cpt-Harris was contacted. After the first wave JakeLuciano joined in with our attempts after one of his members was attacked by Bricktop's. 

We did what we did today because we had to, and we also did what we did today because we could. You may come to these streets and say anything against us or our decisions that you like but in the end I will maintain that I made the right choice for myself and those I hold near and dear. What matters in the end to me is that those I am friends and allies with no longer have to worry about our safety.

Anyway, onto the more serious note.

I'm going to throw in a slightly different perspective here. I wanted to help remove them because I could see New York some day soon becoming the proverbial meat in the sandwhich. CH is massive and has many districts, DT and PH were very close in may aspects and thus controlled many districts. NY is well, small.

So, I'm not going to sit here and say I had issues with how they took down PH or their reasons for the takedown, as they didn't matter to me. The effect on me is that it meant that my little District became a lot more vulnerable and thats something I would never be comfortable with and so was happy to assist when consulted by the New York Godfathers.

There was a valiant effort from the fallen, Alucard was a man that I held in high regard already as were many of his cohorts, their fight last night proved they were no easy targets. I wish their offspring well for the future and I hope to see them emulating their parents, even if its to rise up and knock down people like me. This world thrives on the young building and removing the old.

After the last couple of weeks of takedowns I have listened to people bitch and moan about respect and honor and why they are dead ect, I had both And im dead but im proud of what we did as a family and Steve Chaos Bruiser and Alucard had a hand in my progress for that I cannot thank them enough. If the shoe was on the other foot I would take people down without thinking twice thats the game. I have no ill feeling towards anyone i just looking to build again and get back to where I was. Rest in peace SS CH we had a good run but they all come to an end.

I applaud you on your work, sirs. Interesting to see multiple cities working together.  I do hope that NY and CH decide to split their crews in to DT and PH as both cities are now pretty decimated.

I suspect the Godfathers will meet at some point very soon and discuss the plans for the other two Detroit districts, Philly and South Side.

Or within two weeks they'll all be filled with NPCs.

I truly applaud our dear Godfather of Chicagos West Side for approaching the masses in an timely fashion, as well as speaking the truth. No bullshit. A man of respect among a many who once stood that were mice in the presence of men.

its never easy to step into a decision like this, but like always people look to history in hopes to figure the future.   We have seen steps in the past where city by city has fallen due to sometimes stupid excuses for empires to fall whether in the DS/PS era, Roman era etc and we always have to be watchful as eventually is too late to beat something except by luck. 

MY only concern from this initially was the feeling of my district being left out of the dance, and showed to me we have to be careful even with the recent deaths to not lose the unity that has made Chicago a powerhouse.  Although i understand the reasons with Lynch's speech at the end of the day we have shown what can be done when unified even if not expecting what was coming.

To those who lost their lives on both side, may your rest well and i look forward to a new generation a little bit smarter, a little bit more ambitious and a little more learned from what their family lines have taught them.

It was a good move by Lynch due to the events in the past few days things have been crazy and ultimately with the LH to a godfather running his mouth about a takedown going to happen and more then enough guns at the time to do so he had to act and he did I give him props because in the end sometimes your words and a better weapon then your gun and when you use your words you better be ready to act.

None the less I look foward to seeing what the godfathers do with the open districts and well played to the victors it was a fun war.

Firstly I want to thank Godfather Lynch for taking the time to come to the Streets and give the reasons for what went down last night. As for the Suburbs involvement,  I was left bitterly disappointed by what happened in Philadelphia, and when one of my members was killed by the new Philadelphia regime and another shot at, I was left with little choice but to act.
