Romain had a gleam in his eyes, as he stood before everyone and smiled.

Good evening everyone.

He slightly cleared his throat a bit and then looked upon the crowd nervously.

It is a very special night for the city of Chicago and The Loop, and instead of just making a simple announcement I would like to speak about the event that made it so special. I will attempt to keep it short as I know everyone here is very busy so without further ado...

Romain stood just a bit taller and began to reveal the events that had just unfolded.

Tonight the bitter winds beat on the trees making them kneel to the ground. Lightning had began to light up the Chicago skies, and just as thunder shattered the pelting sounds of rain, a single shot rang out that seemed to have struck from the heavens.

Returning from the assassination, Kpacumup stood before a few that had crossed their fingers and held their breath awaiting his return. His clothes were soaked from the rain, yet as he stood before them all he seemed like a new man as he stood still clutching his smoking gun.

He said not a word to any of us but nodded as a puddle of cold rain had pooled on the floor and trickled down the steps of the Imperial Guards headquarters.

Seeing him there as he was, we knew Don Kpacumup had now stepped forward from any shadow and had become the newest Godfather to walk our streets.

Romain closed his eyes as he took in a deep breath and looked over at Kpacumup.

Godfather Kpacumup, you have dealt with every blow that has been dealt to you. You have held the district close to your heart every moment since you have been here. You have kept her safe when it seemed impossible, and you have held each person in the city close to you as a son or daughter.

I haven't had the pleasure to thank you enough for everything you do, but tonight a thank you along with a massive congratulations is in order. Through all the battles, the thick and the thin you have been a staple and backbone of The Loop. Thank you!

To everyone I present you not just a friend or true leader...

Romain paused a moment as he bowed his head to Kpacumup and then looked up once again.

But a GODFATHER.

Congratulations Godfather Kpacumup.

Congratulations Don Kpamucup...my Godfather.I have worked for you for just a short time before I was given permission to join Don Viene's crew but in that short time I knew you will accomplish greater things.It has been an honor to have worked in your crew for a while.All the best to you Godfather Kpamucup.

What can i say, you have proven that patience and resilience turn to opportunity in time.  Congratulations my friends and to your future health.

Raises a glass

Hearing the great news, Hecate immediately goes to the headquarters of the Imperial guards, her former family, even though its still raining hard that day. After entering the HQ, there stood the new Godfather of Loop.

Congratulations Kpacu. Even though I've been under you for only a short time, you showed your greatness to me. After the war, the Loop struggled as their Godfather died yet you stood mighty  in the middle of the chaos. You hold the family together. Now that you've been the new Godfather, I know that the Loop will stand up again and will be great again. I wish you good luck.

Shakes the hands of Kpacu. 

It is wonderful to have The Loop strengthened with a Godfather again. Kpacumup you have been a steady presence in the district and I am so happy that you have made Godfather. Congratulations!

Congratulations Godfather Kpacumup! An honor that well deserved.

Kourtney approaches the new Godfather of the Loop and bows her head respectfully, before passing over a gift basket full of silk scarves and leather gloves.

"A belated congratulations to you, Kpacumup, on your new position as the esteemed Godfather of The Loop in Chicago.  I am happy to see you rise to such an illustrious position within the Chicago organization.  I am even happier to see a district I once called home and loved be passed over into good hands.  I know you and your new structure will run the district well, and I am excited to see what things will come out of the Loop in the near future.  Once again, congratulations."

With a final curtsy Kourtney smiled and took her leave.
