Spike starts first skipping through unpaved roads of the Suburbs, but as he goes south in Chicago, he starts seeing the mills. His pace slows down and he starts walking. He dusts off his suit, and magically his shoes suddenly sparkle and the wrinkles all disappear. He straightens the Czylharz pin on his suit. His hair somehow is combed in a part, and he walks up to his new home, with his men behind him. He begins to address the crowd.

This has been an interesting run, eh? From skipping to Godfather. Well, here we are after all this time. It has been rough at times, but we have come a long way. 

I am excited for this position and looking forward to working with the other Godfathers of Chicago and I want to thank all of them, Lynch, Solastalgia, and especially JakeLuciano (as I started with him myself… My bloodline dates back to getting an invite from his into CrossDeLena’s family…).

I am saddened by the loss of our Cpt-Harris, and wish I could put in some thanks to him, but such is the way of the world at times. There has been too much bloodshed and losses all around. Growth is very important to me. I aspire to help create an even more beautiful city together with my fellow Godfathers and districts, and wish to ensure further stability amongst our friends in Detroit, New York, and Philadelphia. But no, not you Delaware City.

As for other thanks, I will try not to be as long winded as my bloodline has been in the past: Thank you to my family/District (Bip and Drunky), and all the others in Chicago. Thank you to Czylharz (all of you. Yes, you too, Maple/Scarin/Butterfly/Tree). Most importantly, even though very generally, thank you to my friends. Loyalty is hard to come by, but it is the most precious thing in this world.

-- Moving along, my first order of business in my district is to have my loyal lion, iocaste, start his own family. He will be creating a family called “The Lion’s Pride – Czylharz Division” along with a silly drunk named JackRyan. At least I will be retaining one feline/kitten, my Ragnar_Lothbrok.

Anyway, I don’t want to keep you all too long. There are several celebrations going on today, and I shan’t, I can’t, and I won’t hold you all from the festivities, as I know that io has one of his own planned.

Spike pulls out a bottle of 1811 Veuve Clicquot (a comet vintage) which his family had gone to extreme measures to keep preserved properly for such an occasion. He lights of his Morland cigarettes with three gold bands on the filter and sits back to watch the goings on. He waits for LeBeau and Swag to appear. Tonight, he will get wasted with hipsters, the yuppie that he is.

Spike are bloodlines go back and have always been close even when not working in the same city we always find time to joke around and just talk about things I am excited to see what you do in the South Side I know you have the right people around you to build something great not to mention you're great leadership skills and overall personality make you a joy to work with. KrookedC had heard there was big news coming to the streets but he wasn't sure what it was gonna be. Looking around the HQ, KrookedC didn't see much to tip him off so he started asking around a bit. Spotting JackRyan, KrookedC walks over and pulls his friend to the side.

Any word on what this news is man? 

JackRyan chuckles and points to a small memo posted on the door. Krooked reads it and looks around oddly.

So big news but all we get is a simple memo. No smiley faces? No bring your guns or big shipment today all people needed here. Just a simple, be here and you hear. Have a nice day. WOW, all right.

Checking his watch, Krooked notices its about times and heads to the district square. Upon hearing the news. Krooked is overly happy. DeadlySpike was well respected and known figure in Chicago. Old bloodline and honored crewleader that gave him a home. Upon hearing the words, Godfather and SpikeSide, Krooked can't think of anyone more deserving. Waiting back after the speech, Krooked approaches and hands the new Godfather a top hat and a cane.
