Snidely's Smoke Lounge Started by: SnidelyWhiplash on Nov 07, '13 22:55
Snidely hummed to himself as he finished off the joint he'd been smoking inside of his new business. It'd been a while now that he'd been wanting to spread out from just having one business in Chicago. After sitting in Detroit for a few days on a job for Toberius, he decided that the Detroit Business District would be a suitable enough place.

Immediately upon entering, the front of the store was lined with glass shelving that held hand blown pipes, sliders, and accessories for smoking. Along the top of the cases sat ornate ashtrays and lighters, as well as many different types of tobacco.

The left half of the shop was dedicated to hookah's sitting on the floor, hoses dangling down to the ground. The atmosphere in the shop was extremely calm and serene. Incense were burning from somewhere in the shop, unseen to the customer. The lighting was somewhat dim, and the faint smell of marijuana was detectable to those who smoked.

The right half of the shop had a couple love seats, arm chairs, and one large couch. Between them were small tables with ashtrays, rolling papers for those who bought tobacco and wanted a fresh smoke, or a joint, and pitchers of water. Snidely took one final look around the place and decided it passed his inspection. With a grin on his face he walks to the front door and flips the sign to "Open!".

As the hour ticked on, Snidely sat patiently stoned awaiting his first customer. Rolling a cigarette and lighting it promptly, he smiles as he hears the front door open. Wasting no time, he walks up and greets the man who'd entered.

"Welcome to Snidely's Smoke Lounge! Feel free to have a look around, or relax over there to the right and light up a smoke. Don't hesitate to ask about anything, we've got an enormous selection of glass pipes, hookahs, and glass bongs. We've also got quite a few blends of tobacco and papers if that's more your thing!"

Admiral Ackbar had worked all morning and was up for a break. As he knocked over a gas station on the corner of the street he pulled a sprint into the nearest alleyway heading in the direction of the famous business district of Detroit. He was exhausted and even felt a certain stress pulling over him..

Across the street he saw a new business was set up with a sign hanging out with 'Snidely's Smoke Lounge' on it. Just what I need..Admiral walked over and stepped inside, instantly filling his lungs with smoke.

This place looks great Snidely! I will keep it with these fine cigars as I have other business to attend later on..

Admiral took a seat and puffed away..feeling the stress disappear..

So, Snidly! How's life treating you ? Admiral Asked.

After a long day's work Belial decides it was time to take a brake so he heads out to the streets looking for a good place to take some time and just relax, he spots a new business that just opened at the corner of the street with a sign that read "Snidely's smoke lounge".

He makes his way and heads to the counter, Great place you got there Snidely! I am going to try one of those Hookah's with some mint flavored tobacco? if you have some and add in a few grams of weed to kick its flavor.

he then turns and walks up to the couch, this looks like a cozy place to chill out.

Snidely welcomes his new customers with a sheepish grin. His eyes were already glossed over, but he was seriously contemplating joining Belial for a hookah. Getting the mint tobacco from the back, he fills up one of the finer hookahs and sprinkles in his dealers best weed. The combination was enough to relax an enraged elephant so he had no doubt that Belial would enjoy it thoroughly. Extending his hand to shake Belial's, Snidely speaks,

"First one is on the house! But if you'll excuse me for a moment I'll return shortly."

Snidely walks over to the Admiral and lights up a cigarette. Not many people enjoyed the finer things in life so it was a welcome sight for Snidely to see that the Admiral was requesting fine cigars. Reaching under the display case he pulls out a fine oak box that held a few of his personal favorites. It almost pained him to part with them, but it was worth it to please a customer. Rolling it slowly in his fingers, Snidely smiles early as he hands one to the Admiral.

"Life's alright right now mate, enjoying the perks of owning a smoke shop right now. And what brings you this way today, business or pleasure?"

Snidely awaits an answer but in the meantime, he walks over to Belial and picks up one of the hookahs hoses. Inhaling deeply he coughs and chuckles to himself as the familiar wave of serenity washed over his body.

Telkin had found himself in The Motor City on a tip from a friend, apparently quite the number of convicts were in need of assistance in their quest of freeing themselves from the jail. So what the hell Telkin thought, I might as well sharpen my skills. After a few hours of doing so, Telkin decided it was time for a break. As he lit a cigarette he set course for the Business District, knowing full and well that his cousin Snidely's smoke shop still had a stash of marijuana somewhere.

As he entered the business, a sharp tingling sensation ran up the entirety of his spinal column. Sighing, Telkin lit a cigarette and headed towards the back room. If he knew his cousin, and he'd like to think he had, Snidely would have undoubtedly stashed some good stuff under the third floorboard back from the door. It was an old hiding spot at their Aunt's house that Telkin and Snidely had used back before they moved to America. Counting the boards and prying the proper one, Telkin wasn't disappointed when he revealed a large sack of skunk smelling cannibus.

Bag in hand, Telkin proceeded to make his way back into the main room of the business. Reflecting upon the past few days, he sighed and emptied a nice portion of the bag into a hookah. Sparking it in a circular motion to light the whole bowl, Telkin smiled as he inhaled the heavenly fumes that it emitted. What a week, he thought to himself. Between the plethora of attacks from Delaware, there was also the war that took his cousin Snidely Whiplash.

Thinking of this made Telkin frown momentarily, and he thusly compensated by inhaling a large lungful of smoke. A smile spread across his face as the feeling of extreme peace and serenity washed over him like the tide coming up on the sand. Finishing off the bowl lost in his own thoughts, Telkin snapped back to reality as he looked outside and saw the sun rising over the city. And so began a new day, with Telkin flipping the sign on the door to CLOSED FOR BUSINESS.
